Back in the fire nation

We walked up the red stone stairs and when we got to the temple entrance it was stunning. From far away I thought it was great, but up close it was breathtaking. I'd been to a few fire nation temple's before but this, this was glamorous.

"I don't see any guards." Sokka whispered.

"The Fire Nation must have abandoned the temple when Avatar Roku died." Katara said.

"It's almost sundown. We better hurry!" Aang said. We go deeper into the temple.

"Wait, I think I heard something." Sokka whispered. We turned around to see five men standing in the hallway dressed in red with tall hats.

"We are the Fire Sages. Guardians of the temple of the Avatar." One said.

"Great! I am the Avatar!" Aang exclaimed.

"We know." A man says inhaling, just in seconds he's shooting fire at us.

"I'll hold them off, run." I say to the others.

"All of you go get them I'll deal with her." A fire sage said.

Now it's only you and me. I didn't bring my bow and arrow because it was too noticeable.

"Back down I don't want to hurt a child." The fire sage said.

"And I don't want to hurt someone that looks like my grandpa but guess I have no choice." I smirk. I'd learned from my mistake so I sprinted towards him no hesitation. I didn't actually want to hurt him, just keep him down for long enough so Aang could speak to Roku.

The fire sage blasted a fire ball at me but I swiftly dodged.

I pulled two knifesout from my waist band and flung them at him but he moved past them and threw a fire wall at me.

I had to race behind a pillar for coverage. "Come out little girl, you can't hide forever." He said. I switched to another pillar not wanting to make a sound.

I look to my left to see a bit of old cloth. I grab it quickly and move to the next pillar. I could hear his foot steps getting closer.

I just need to get behind him. I look behind the pillar to see no one so I step out. I've got a plan.

Then I heard a voice behind me. "You've finally come out of hiding."

"Yeah something like that." I say "NOW GUYS." I yell causing him to look behind him. As he was distracted I moved behind a pillar watching him.

"No ones there." he said turning around confused.

"Where'd she go?" He whispered. When he turned around I tackled him tying his hands.

"Here I am." I say proudly.

I rush out to find the others. The cloth won't hold him for long. I run through the corridor reaching a dead end.

Uhhh I hate this. Just then I heard Aang's voice. I ran closer and closer to the voice then I bumped into someone. I rub my head from the impact.

"Oh, it's Dee." I hear someone say it was Aang.

"Hey, I got rid of that one fire sage." I say standing up.

"Ok great let's go." Aang cheered as we all followed him.

"Do you know where you're going?" Sokka asked as we went round a corner.

"Nope!" Aang shoutes. As we go past another corner we come face to face with a fire sage.

"Wrong way!" Aang yells running past us.
