Dee's pov

It'd been two days since we left aunt Wu's village and we were getting closer to the nothern water tribe and I was getting more and more scared. After we're done there what's gonna happen. Will it just end like that.

Just then I pricked my finger with the twig i was using to make daisy crowns. I held my finger tightly through the pain. It didn't last too long.

"Hey, I think we need more flowers for the crowns." I say to Katara who was helping me. Mine already had daisies and daffodils on it but I wanted more.

"Yeah totally. I think I saw blue flowers down there." She pointed to an area between the trees that was a little down the hill. "they'll look great on the crowns." She chirped.

We both stood up and I followed her to the spot she was talking about bringing my crown with me. When we finally got there I saw some beautiful delphinium flowers.

We sat and started getting back to work just chatting about random stuff. "Hey Dee can I ask you something?" Whenever someone asked me this it was always the last thing I wanted to answer.

But I didn't decline. "Sure whats up?" I ask continuing with my crown.

Katara took a deep breath. "Well...have you ever been in love." And there it is a question I really don't want to answer.

But it'll be good for me to talk about it I guess. "I mean Katara that's a difficult question, I think when I was younger I thought I was so maybe." I say. "It felt like love but, why do you like someone?" I smirked.

"well I mean I don't know for sure." She said blushing. "I just wanted to know what it was I was feeling and plus I bet you have some interesting stories about love"

"Not really there more tragedy than love." I say sigh.

"Then tell me about it." She says happily.

"well my first love I guess was when I was 14 I think I really liked this guy we where childhood friends and he did something pretty messed up and it really broke me at the time." I huff realising how stupid I sound.

"So after that I said I wouldn't fall in love again... but then I met this boy and was sweet and kind but then he lied to me about very important things and it didn't work out."

"Oh Dee I'm so sorry." Katara said squeezing my hand.

"No it's ok, boys suck." I say then I see the look on Katara's face. "Oh! But not all of them some of them are kind and caring it's just for some reason I attract the other type." I chuckled.

"It's Ok, I'm sure one day the right kind of guy will come and treat you right." Katara said holding my hand and squeezing it lightly.

"Well my crown is fit for a princess let's see yours." I smile holding mine up and putting it on.

Katara held her's up. It looked great. "let me put it on for you." I insist placing it on her head. "We look amazing." I smile.

"Yeah we do, I like how you added moss to yours." Katara complimented.

Just then Aang and Sokka came through the bushes looking for something.

"Did someone lose something?" Katara asked curiously standing up.

Aang and Sokka kept rummaging through the bushes somewhat cheerfully. "No, we found something!" Aang voiced.

I stepped forward making sure my crown would fall from my head. "What did you guys find?" I ask curious.
