*Five months later*
We had found a new house to stay in for the day. Lori was less than a month away form giving birth, so we had to find somewhere better. Hershel had been teaching me, Maggie and Carol the steps of C-section, just in case.
Daryl had shot an owl while clearing the house and was currently removing its feathers. We had a big fight a couple months ago. Hand to hand. We don't talk anymore.
Carl came in with cans of dogfood. He had gotten quite good at survivaling and always helped to clear out the houses. I used to feel sorry for kids these days but they will be the most dangerous people later, if you're not with them. We are with him. We have multiple dangerous people, like Rick, but Carl will beat us all in time.
Rick picked up the dogfood as Carl started to open them. He looked at it and threw it in the corner wich caused us to jump. Rick was the most feared in our group at the moment. Carl and I called his way of leadership, dictatorship, the 'Ricktatorship'. We came up with it when we were standing guard as the others discussed the plan at the hood of one of our cars. Of course Rick was the 'Ricktator'.
We couldn't even catch a breath before two dozen walkers were coming our way. T-Dog wistled and we grabbed our stuff and left the house quietly.
I was driving with T-Dog for the past month or two. We had gotten closer. Driving with him always felt like a therapy session, I'd always tell him all my problems and frustrations. He would give me crappy advice but it felt good to talk to someone. That someone used to be John, but he's dead now. We were not given the time to think about the past.
When we had been driving for a couple minutes we stopped to discuss the plan. I never really listened. I always stood guard, with Carl. We were always making bets on whatever came to mind. "I've got one, for one KitKat." He said.
"I've only got two more left." I whined.
"You in or you out?"
"Fine, I'm in." I sighed with a smile.
"I bet that you and Daryl are going to fix things between you and end up getting unofficially married, maybe get like... a familly and live your happily ever after." He held up his hand for me to shake.
"How long until I can prove you wrong?" I asked.
"Five years." He lifted his head so I could see his eyes better, he was smirking.
I smirked back and shook his hand. "Deal"
"Deal" He replied.

Some of the group were heading to the creek to get more water. Rick asked me to join him and Daryl on hunting. I wanted to say no, but I felt like it was an order instead of a question.
We were walking on some train track when we came past an overrun prison. "That's a shame." Daryl said. We stood for a while and watched. It was possible to clear out the yard. I could even do that by myself. All of the walkers were spread out.
Rick thought the same. We could stay there, if we pushed ourselves a little more.
We went back to the group. "We found a prison, it's overrun, but we can take it." Rick said to the group. Everyone followed us and we made it there.
Rick cut the fence open and we went in the pathway between the guard towers. The walkers in the yard noticed us and came towards the fence. I stabbed one in the head though the fence before we started running towards the main gate.
"It's perfect." Rick said when we made it to our destination. "If we can shut that gate, prevent more from filling the yard, we can pick off these walkers. We'll take the field by tonight."
