Glenn appeared from the darkness. More people were behind him, including Maggie, Sasha and Bob. The four others I didn't know. There was a big ginger with a peculiar mustache, a nerdy guy with a mullet, a badass looking woman and another woman who looked less badass.
It pained me to not see Atlas nor Judith in here. I hoped that others were alive and taking care of them.
"You're here." Rick said as he looked at the group. "You're here."
"They're our friends. They helped save us." Maggie explained as Rick kept quiet about the new people. I could see his facial expression of distrust and judgment in front of me.
"Yeah," Daryl started, "Now they're friends of ours."
"For however long that'll be." The ginger said.
"No," Rick started. He walked to the door. "They're gonna feel pretty stupid when they find out."
"Find out what?"
"They're fucking with the wrong people."

Rick came up with a plan after Glenn and the other told everything that they had been through. Maggie got out with Sasha and Bob. While Glenn was on the road with the girl called Tara, the less badass looking one, she seemed nice.
Glenn ran into the other guys, the nerdy one was Eugene, the badass looking woman was named Rosita and the army ginger was called Abraham. Glenn and Maggie were both looking for each other and they had found one another, with the help of the newcomers.
They had told us that the people from this place opened the doors to give them 'food', aka powdered milk. That's why they had it in front of the train cart.
We were now making weapons with everything we had, which was very close to nothing.
"What are you doing?" Daryl asked me softly as he noticed I had just taken off my boot.
"Got a knife in here." I replied on the same volume.
"How do you have a knife?"
"'Cuz, in the prison you told me to always have a knife in my shoe." I rolled my eyes.
Daryl nodded. He was more quiet than usual, I mean, he's never been much of a talker, but now he's suspiciously silent. He had told us how he lost Beth on the road. She was still alive, just gone.
"What's going on?" I asked. He ignored me. "Daryl." I stood up. We were in the corner working on our weapons.
He turned around, it was too dark to see his face, but I had a feeling it wasn't smiling. "I just- I thought you had him with you."
I knew who he was talking about and to be honest I wanted to keep him off my mind.
"And when I saw you didn't, I- I felt.."
"Devastated?" I asked when I noticed he couldn't find the right word. Daryl nodded and I pulled him in a hug. I felt his head press into my shoulder. He really wasn't doing okay. Neither was I, but I just ignored it as much as I could and focussed on the brighter things in life, if that is what you call breathing these days.
"At the prison," I started after a couple seconds of silence in our conversation, the others were talking. "I saw the car seats of them and I-"
"Please stop." Daryl begged me. He wouldn't let go of me. I didn't mind, I felt safe.
"Okay. All right. I won't."
Silence fell between us once more.
