"Who the hell are you?" Daryl asked the five people behind us in the cafeteria.
"Who the hell are you?" One of them shot back.
"He's bleeding out. We gotta go back." Rick said. "Come around here. Put pressure on the knee."
I moved next to Daryl with my pistol raised at the new people. "You can come on out of there." He said to them. "Slow and steady." They did as he ordered and came out slowly.
"What had happened to him?" The one in the white shirt asked. He had a gun.
"He got bit." I answered.
"Bit?"
They came closer. T-Dog also raised his gun at them. "Easy now." Daryl told them as the one with the gun raised it on him. "Nobody needs to get hurt."
Glenn came walking through our scene. "You have medical supplies?"
"Whoa, where do you think you're going?" The tallest one asked.
The walkers started banging on the doors. Shit
"Who the hell are you people anyway?" The one with the raised gun asked.
Survivors, nicer than you and of course, dangerous. Stupid bitch.
"Don't look like no rescue team." The blonde one with a mustache asked.
"If a rescue team is what you're waiting for, don't!" Rick said from behind us. "Come on, we gotta go!"
Glenn came back with a trolley and he and Rick lifted Hershel on it. "T, the door!" Rick yelled. He did as ordered and opened the door. Me and Daryl walked away slowly, still aiming our weapons at the prisoners. They were going to follow us, but we had bigger problems.
---
When we finally made it back to our cell block everyone immediately started helping Hershel. Me and Daryl awaited the prisoners in the common room. We looked at eachother and rolled our eyes. We raised our weapons.
The prisoners came walking in slowly. "That's far enough." I said.
"Cell block C." The one in the white shirt started. "Cell 4, that's mine, darlin'. Let me in."
"Today's your lucky day, fellas. You've been pardoned by the state of Georgia. You're free to go." Daryl told them. The corner of my lip twitched upwards at his comment.
"What you got going on in there?"
"That ain't your concern." I replied.
"Don't be telling me what's my concern." The one with the gun said as he raised it again. Daryl stepped forward.
"Chill man. Dude's leg is messed up. Besides, we're free now. Why are we still in here?" The biggest question.
"You should listen to your friend, asshole." I said.
"Yeah, and I gotta check on my old lady." The tall one mentioned.
"A group of civilians breaking into a prison you got no business being in, got me thinking there ain't no place for us to go." The guy in the white shirt guessed.
"Why don't you go find out?" Daryl grumbled.
"Maybe we'll just be going now." The blonde one said.
"Hey, we ain't leaving." The talkative one said.
"You ain't coming here either." T-Dog came in with his gun raised.
"It's my house, my rules. I go where I damn well please." The man raised his gun. Still he had an unsure look on his face. He and Daryl started arguing.
