Blue's POV
I texted Benj that I'm here at his condo's parking lot.
Benj being Benj, siyempre nag-inarte muna siya bago bumaba.
"Ano ba meron at biglaan kang nagpunta dito? Kakadischarge lang ni Riel ah diba dapat inaalagaan mo yon?" Benj said as soon as he approached me.
Humithit ako sa sigarilyong hawak ko bago tinapon at inapakan.
"Susumbong kita kay Riel sabi non wag ka na magyoyosi diba" pagbabanta niya.
Lumapit ako sa kanya.
I punched him.
Dahil sa gulat, hindi siya nakaiwas.
"Tangina Blue! Anong problema mo?" Gulat niyang sabi.
"Fucker. You know the problem" I hissed then punched him again.
"Punyetang to hindi pwedeng ako lang!" He shouted then punched back.
It was a strong punch, my lips felt numb.
We threw more punches to each other until we are so dead tired and decided to lie on the floor.
I am catching my breath.
"Yari ako kay Pops pag nakita nanaman yung mukha ko kaasar talaga mga trip mo!" He complained.
I just chuckled. Deserve..
Hanggang sa nagtawanan na kaming dalawa.
We look like a mess, nakahiga sa parking lot, may mga sugat at dugo sa mukha.
"Kasalanan mo yan gunggong. Nag-away pa kami ni Gabby dahil sayo" I said closing my eyes.
Napagod ako.
Lagot pa ako panigurado kay Gabby pag nakita yung mga pasa ko.
"Kanina mo pa sinasabi yan eh ni hindi ko nga alam anong ginawa ko sayo!" Napadilat ako at lumingon sa kanya.
"Kailangan bang bugbugin ulit kita para maalala mo?" I raised my eyebrow at him
"Oh chill.. Fine! Hindi ko sinadya okay? I just asked you for a favor. Hindi ko naman sinabi na isakay mo sa passenger at ipakita mo kay Riel" umirap siya
"Tsk. That favor almost fucking killed him. Mabuti dumating ako on time at mabuti nalang naisipan niya pa rin akong tawagan."Napatulala ako.
Imagining what could've happen if he didnt call me.
"If something bad happened to him, I will not forgive myself. I might follow him." I whispered closing my eyes tightly.
Benj sighed.
"Fine. Sorry Blue. Hindi ko naman inakala na lalaki ng ganun yung away niyo. I just asked you for that favor k-kasi.. We have a bet" pag amin niya.
Napaupo ako sa sinabi niya.
"What fucking bet?" I asked.
"Dash and I. Nagpustahan kami kung gaano katagal bago kayo umamin sa isa't isa. So I decided to ask you a favor. Hindi ko naman akalain na ganun ang magiging reaksyon ni Riel dahil palagi ka naman niya nakikita sa bar na may kasama. I just wanted to trigger him a little" he answered
Binatukan ko siya.
"Aray Blue! Puro pasa na nga ako oh!" Reklamo niya
"You deserve it! Talagang pinagpustahan niyo pa kami?" I shouted back
"Come on Blue. We were friends for 12 years. You know our real intention behind the bet!"
Napabuntong hininga nalang ako.
Alam ko...
I know my friends. The bet was just a cover up. Alam kong talagang pinupush nila kami ni Riel sa isa't isa. Pero pinagpustahan pa rin kami!
"It won't happen Benj. Gabby will never admit it to his self. I don't even know if he feels the same way. Me on the other hand will never admit it too. Gabby is not ready. He will never be. "
"Alam mo, ilang taon mo na siyang mahal Blue. You shouldn't bottle up your feelings like that." He sadly said
I smiled.
"What else can I do? He only sees me as a friend. He is not responsible to return whatever I feel."
"Bakit hindi ka nalang magmahal ng iba?" He suggested
Binatukan ko siya ulit
"You speak like you don't know us all these years parang tanga. I tried couple of times diba? Pero si Gabriel parin talaga"
Napailing nalang siya.
"Ang tangaaaaaaaaa magmahal" he said rolling his eyes.
I know.
I am fully aware of how far I can go when it comes to Gabriel.
"So eto na yon? Hanggang dito nalang?" He asked seriously
Hanggang dito na nga lang ba?
Maybe..
Maybe not..
Only time can tell..
"Benj, if being his bestfriend is the nearest I can have, I am more than contented."
"Oo na puta alam ko na kasunod! Riel or nobody else. Umay na umay nako tama ka na!"
Hinablot ko ang leeg niya at pabirong sinakal siya.
We laughed at my misery.
