Gabriel's POV
It's currently my vacant, mamaya pang 2:30 ang next class ko kaya naman mag-isa lang ako sa faculty dahil nasa klase pa ang mga tungaw.
Wala akong magawa kaya naman inasikaso ko nalang ang DLP ko.
"Baby?" I heard Blue called upon entering the faculty.
"Hmmm?" I answered while busy typing on my laptop.
"What are you doing?" He asked, sitting down beside me.
"DLP" I replied
Pinatong niya ang ulo niya sa balikat ko kaya napahinto ako sa ginagawa at tinignan siya.
"You okay?" I asked.
He sighed. Kinuha niya ang isang kamay ko at pinaglaruan ito.
"Mr. Reyes is pregnant" he answered later on
"Huh? That's good news! He always wanted a child diba?" I replied smiling, remembering Mr. Reyes' fondness of kids.
"Yeah.. But that also means all of his classes will be on me temporarily once he goes on leave. Haaaay" nanghihina niyang sagot.
Natawa naman ako sa kanya. Kala ko kung ano na.
Speaking of children, I remembered something.
Is it still the case?
"Bum?" I called...
Dapat ko bang itanong?
"Naalala ko lang..
Uh.. Nevermind" I decided to drop the question.
Huwag na pala..
That made him more curious tho. Naupo siya ng maayos at sinilip ang mukha ko..
"Go on.. naalala mo lang na??" He encouraged
I bit my lower lip. Wrong move Gab..
"Na ano.. You told me before na, you don't want to have kids. Is it the same until now?" I hesitantly asked..
Mukhang hindi niya inaasahan ang tanong ko kaya hindi siya nakasagot agad..
His face became serious..
"Honestly, ayoko pa rin Gabby. I know I cannot be a good father. I don't like kids too. Maipapasa ko lang ang childhood traumas ko sa kanila. No child deserves that, babe.." He answered.
I held his hand..
"Paano ka naman nakakasigurado na hindi ka magiging mabuting ama? " maingat kong tanong.
"No one taught me how to be a father, I don't have one remember? Isa pa, just because I can doesn't mean I should." He answered avoiding my eyes..
Napatango ako. I understand where he is coming from. Isa pa, I don't feel like having one rin naman.
Lumingon siya pabalik sa akin at pinagmasdan ang mga mata ko.
"Why babe? Did you ask because you want to have a child with me?" Mahina niyang tanong.
Kita ko ang takot at kaba sa mga mata niya kaya naman agad akong umiling at ngumiti.
