Jake had gotten to school, to his locker, to his lessons without interacting with practically anybody. This was surprising, ever since the incident, everyday he had had an interaction with a member of the club, Jomies, or just anyone. But today, he had like one with someone he didn't know. Well, it wasn't like he had personally tried to speak to anyone, he probably should've tried to interact with Drew considering today he should've told the club. Although, if he didn't do it today and 'wimped' out again, Jake guessed that Drew would never. At this point, Jake had practically given up. It was Tuesday, and the competition was on Friday and after that he would get kicked out. So, if today wasn't the day, Jake would just try and practice as hard as he could do hopefully they could win the competition. Even if he got kicked out after that, if they won, it would make him happy either way.
Drew on the other hand, had a few more interactions then Jake that day. He was meeting with Hailey at lunch to discuss with her the situation, but before that, he went to his locker and Henry and Liam were waiting there as usual, smiling when he saw them. They would always be his friends, no matter what. "Sup Drew." Liam said. "Hey guys." Drew said, opening his locker. "You alright, Drew? I saw you looking upset when you left school yesterday." Henry asked. "Um...yeah, I'm fine." Drew responded. "You sure?" Henry asked. "Yes, I'm fine, Henry." Drew said once again, walking away from them both, remembering yesterday, and Zoey. While walking, he bumped into Lia. "Oh, shit, sorry." Drew said to Lia. Like with Liam and Henry, he didn't hate Lia like he hated Zoey. He liked how she told them what Zoey did and had pretty much stopped being friends with Zoey, if made him happy. Plus, she was always pretty nice to him.
"It's fine, Drew." Lia said, beginning to walk away. "Lia!" Drew said, Lia turning around. "What?" She asked. "Thanks for telling me what Zoey did." He told her. Lia looked down. "It's- it's okay." Lia said, continuing to walk away, not liking being reminded of what happened that day. Drew then walked to his classroom. He went to all of his lessons, seeing Jake walking pass his classroom in one which made him feel weird. But when lunch came, Drew had his lunch and then left to go to his locker to get something. Once he shut it, he saw Hailey standing there, practically jumping. "Holy shit." Drew said. "I though we were meeting in the cafeteria." Hailey said. "Yeah, I was just getting something." Drew told Hailey, both of them not making eye contact with each other. Which was understandable, Drew bullied Hailey for years, was horrible to her for no reason. Well, Drew had a 'reason', wondering if he could tell Hailey.
"I didn't think you'd want to meet up with...me." Drew said. "I didn't think I'd want to either." Hailey responded. "So, why did you?" Drew asked. "I don't know, Drew. I guess, I just really wanted to know. I knew that Jake had changed, I really did feel like he did, so that outburst from him, it didn't feel like that was from the Jake I knew. So, when Jake mentioned the proof, I really wanted to know." Hailey explained to Drew. "Yeah, well, I already told you, why would you still want to meet me?" Drew asked Hailey. "I...don't really know either, I guess I just wanted to actually hear you say it." Hailey told Drew, him nodding, sighing as well. "As well as I just, kind of wanted to talk." She added. "About what?" Drew asked. "We can discuss that after, say what you said in the text." Hailey told Drew.
Drew sighed once more. "Fine." He started. "I manipulated Jake into saying all those horrible things about you and the group because I feared losing him to you guys. I thought if I heard him say those things it would signify that Jake was still my friend." He repeated to Hailey. "That was the proof Jake was saying." He added. "Wow." A voice said, causing not Drew and Hailey to turn around. "I didn't know you would actually say it. Yes, it was only to Hailey and not to the whole club, but you said it to the person it would matter the most to." The voice continued, it being none other than Jake Sterling. "Jake? What are you doing here?" Hailey asked. "I was actually looking for Drew, I had been in the club and saw Hailey wasn't there so I took that as a chance to look for you, Drew. You had to confess to them, but then I found you, and your confession! It all worked out, you found the proof Hailey." Jake said.
