Finally, finally, it's the end of the tour. We are just lying around in our last hotel room, the next morning heading out for a long agonizing flight.
"Why aren't we celebrating the end of the tour?" I asked, locking my phone and throwing it across the bed.
"We're going to celebrate it in Australia, with the families," Ashton told me. He was sat on the same bed as me, Michael and Luke on the other one, Calum sitting in the chair.
"Oh," I said a little surprised, a little caught off guard.
"Does that surprise you?" Luke looked over at me.
"Uh, I don't know. Kind of, but I guess I should've known because they are your family. I'll just stay home that night, I will probably be jet lagged anyways," I shrugged, reaching for my phone that was next to Ashton's feet.
"What? No! You're going!" Michael actually butted in.
"Yeah," Luke and Ashton agreed. Calum kept his eyes on his phone, not caring at all.
"No, no, they're your families, you have family time. You guys have seen me literally everyday and you haven't seen them in forever," I tried to play it off cool. In all honesty, I'm just terrified. I'm scared that their family won't like me or accept me and they'll convince the boys to get rid of me and send me back to my dad.
"You're coming, and that's final," Ashton made up his mind. I rolled my eyes, getting back onto my phone.
. . .
The next morning was hard because we woke up so early, getting on the plane, then not sleeping at all on the plane.
We were all in the car on the way to the house. When we pulled up and I saw the lovely house I couldn't help but squeal with excitement.
I grabbed my bag and suitcase, jogging up to the door, waiting anxiously for someone to open it. When Ashton finally came up to the door, unlocking it, I pushed through and dropped my bags, falling to the ground. I curled up into a ball on the floor, closing my eyes.
"I missed this floor," I sighed. I heard the boys come through, setting bags around me. I got up off the floor, running upstairs and into my room, crashing onto the bed.
"Babe, come grab your bags!" Calum called up to me.
"Later!" I screamed back sleepily. I shuffled under the covers and closed my eyes. The familiar scent of my old home wafted into my nose as I cuddled up to my covers. I'm not going to lie, it comforted me. I do sometimes worry about my dad and how he's doing, or if he died because of alcohol. I would never know.
. . .
"Princess, get up," I felt Luke shaking me gently. I groaned, digging my face into my pillow.
"You have to get up and get ready for dinner," Luke whispered. I rolled back over so I could look at Luke. I brought my hand up to my face, covering everything but my eyes with my fist. I tried to give him puppy dog eyes, so he would let me sleep and maybe I could get out of this!
"Don't. Get ready, come on," Luke walked out of my room. I groaned some more but got out of bed and closed the door. I dressed into jean shorts with a muscle tee crop top, that didn't show much side or stomach at all, and tied Michael's flannel he gave me around my waist. My muscle tee crop top had hands making it look like it said "LA" on it.
I moved onto hair and twisted my bangs back, straightening the rest that was down. I put on a light amount of make up, just enough to look human.
When I was done I sat in front of my mirror, thinking about everything. What if they don't like me? What if they hate me? What if they find out about the Luke thing, or that Luke and I are together? Or what if they find about the whole sex slave thing!? This is not going to be fine...
