"WHAT!?" Ashton shot up and broke the silence, causing tears to fall down my pale face.
"She'll call you back to figure this all out," I sniffed as I handed David his phone back, my head down.
"She expects me to be packed right when we arrive in Hollywood, that's when she'll take me," I finally looked up to see Ashton's broken eyes. Seeing them made me want to cry harder, and that's what I did. I ran to Ashton where he wrapped his arms around me and we cried together. I felt the arms of the others and heard the soft sniffles.
"I'm going to miss you El," Ashton was sobbing along with me. All the boys agreed with Ashton and I can't tell you how long we stayed in that hug.
When we finally pulled away all our faces were red from the salty tears falling down our faces. I looked from each boy and thinking of leaving kills me. They have made my life so much better than it needed to be and now I'm leaving them for who knows how long! I don't even know my aunt and she's taking me away from my sunshines and I don't know what to think.
I couldn't help it but break down into tears again.
"Hey, hey, hey. Don't cry now, Love! We can FaceTime and talk and text! We won't lose touch, trust me. You've impacted our lives so much that we couldn't let you just walk out!" Luke was kneeling down in front of me, hands on my pale face, thumbs wiping away the stray tears.
"I love you," Luke whispered before letting a small tear fall down his cheek.
"I love you," I tried to smile as best as I could, sadly it was the smallest one possible.
"I should go pack," I said quietly. I got out of Luke's grip and walked into the bedroom, grabbing my suitcase and starting to grab my clothes. I didn't have much to pack but it seemed like I took forever because of my constant crying. The boys came in and out of the room every once in a while.
"Hey Babe," Calum sighed as he sat down next to me. He pulled my face into his chest and let me sob. I couldn't help but inhale his scent like always. It makes me calm for a minute. I don't know how, it just does.
"I'm going to miss your scent," I say involuntarily.
"Really! That's the only thing you'll miss!?" Calum pulled away, a smile tugging at his lips as I looked up at his squishy face.
"No, but one of the things," I giggled for the first time that I heard this news. He pulled me into one last hug, kissing the top of my head, then getting up and leaving the room.
I finished up with my packing and right before I closed my suitcase the boys piled in. I turned around and they all sat across from me.
"We have presents for you! To remember us by, of course!" Ashton seemed to be a little more chirpy than earlier. All their hands were behind their back and Ashton was the first to pull his out. In his hands was the maroon beanie I loved to steal from him. I gently grabbed it from his hands and looked at him.
"Your beanie?" I said quietly. He nodded with a smile, his hair flopping around softly.
"It's a good look on you El," he smiled at me. Next was Michael. He pushed towards me his black and red flannel I also wore.
"It's also a good look on you," he smiled cheekily. I placed both the flannel and beanie in my suitcase before I moved on to Luke. When he brought his hands in front of him the object was small enough to still be consumed by his hands. When he opened it up, it was a small blue velvet box. I grabbed it and opened the top. Inside it was a heart-shaped locket. I placed the box down and held the locket in my hand, opening it. On the left side was a picture of the boys and on the right side was the picture I took of Luke doing my hair. This hit me, tears welled up in my eyes but I blinked them back. I handed the necklace back to Luke and turned around, lifting my hair off my neck. I felt his hands reach around me and clip the locket in place. The cold chain laid against my skin I examined it before turning back around to see the boys.
