I stand there shocked as I looked at the shower curtain rod on the floor. My heart was racing and I couldn't help but freak out. I tried to blink away the tears from my fear but I couldn't. All I could do was bolt out the door. I ran down to Michael's room and knocked with such force that my hand turned red.

"El, calm down. Wait, what happened?" Ashton asked as he noticed the state I was in.

"Ashy," I whimpered. He cocked his head to the side but soon caught on. He beckoned the guys over and we all walked out the room and down to mine. I clung to the back of Luke as Ashton unlocked the door.

"Th-the curtain rod fell and I don't know how. It just crashed!" I spat as Ashton opened the door to the bathroom. All the boys poked their heads in and gasped.

"It was perfectly fine earlier," Calum said quietly. I looked up into Luke's blue eyes for reassurance but he couldn't give me any.

"You know there's a pool!" Ashton tried to change the subject. "Let's go swimming," he said. I walked over to my bag and grabbed my bikini and stood by the door.

"I'm changing in Luke's room," I said. Luke and Michael went to their room with me to grab their swimsuits. I changed in the bathroom and put my clothes on over it.

When we were all ready we headed down and thankfully we were the only ones at the pool! I took off my clothes, revealing my bikini. I can't tell you if any of the boys were watching me because Michael's ass threw me into the pool. When I popped back up I shot him a glare and the others were laughing.

"I'll get you Clifford," I tried to use a menacing tone. It didn't really work on Michael because he just scoffed and went to go sit down. Ashton and Calum jumped in on either side of me, splashing me. I splashed them back as they came out of the water.

"You boys are so destructive of the calming water," I sighed but laughed. Before they could reply I swam to the shallow end, starting to do handstands.

"I can do that!" Ashton yelled as he came over to me. He went down and his feet popped out of the water, very unimpressively. They were bent and not together. When he came back up he shook his hair out and wiped his eyes.

"That was kind of terrible. But you know what, it's okay," I laughed. "You also need to cut your toenails Ash," I couldn't help but smile.

"I know! I kind of go a-wall on them but oh well," he shrugged. I can't lie, I go a-wall on this simple task too. I swam around, being as graceful as I can. Not really.

. . .

The boys and I swam around, jumping in and out, splashing each other, and just having a good time. I can't thank them enough for everything they've done, even when I'm pissed at them, it's been a blast.

We finally got out and I was so tired to the point where I almost fell asleep in the shower. Later we're heading to Hollywood, California. I know I won't sleep great on the bus or I'll probably just have another nightmare so I decided to get some shut eye.

I woke up to Ashton screaming like a littler girl. I groggily looked up to see Michael attacking him with a banana and Calum filming it while Luke laid on Ashton's bed. Michael soon stopped attacking him and Calum put his phone down.

"Why?" I said quietly but loud enough for them to hear. Michael and Ashton started laughing.

"Because we can," Ashton laughed with his dimples showing. I couldn't help but get a warm feeling in my body. His smile has always lit up my entire world and to see it in person is the best feeling you could ever have.

I pulled the duvet over my head and couldn't help but smile like an idiot. I felt the duvet tug up and I lifted my head to see Michael's face.

"We're leaving for the flight soon so you need to pack, Laur," he informed me. I nodded and got up, grabbing the few things I had and placing them in my suitcase.

"Come on boys! Bus is leaving!" David knocked on the door. We grabbed our stuff and walked out with him down to the bus. We only got stopped by a few fans but other than that we made it smoothly to the damned tour bus. I don't like the bus that much but I can't do much about it.

We put our things away and the bus was headed on the ride to Hollywood.

"Can't wait to arrive in Hollywood! Xx" I tweeted out to my followers. I have gained some from the boys but not much.

. . .

The ride was dreaded because I started feeling sick. It felt like something bad was going to happen but I'm pretty sure it's just the bus making me feel this way. I cuddled onto Michael, breathing deeply to make sure nothing happened. I begged myself not to puke because I hate it. I closed my eyes to try to fixate my mind on something else.

My eyes opened back up when David came in the living room.

"Somehow someone got our number and is demanding to speak to Lauren." David held out the phone for me, "She claims to be her aunt." I slowly reached for the phone and placed it next to my ear.

"Hello?" I spoke slowly.

"Hi, Lauren? It's your Aunt Jess, I want to speak to you," her thick American accent was noticeable. I got off Michael and walked into a different room.

"Yeah?" I asked, still speaking slowly.

"So I know you're on tour with the band 5 Seconds of Summer and I don't want you doing that anymore. You're coming to Hollywood and that's where I live, I want complete custody over you." She told me like it was nothing.

"But, don't you need my dad for that?" I questioned.

"He gave full custody to the band, and so I just need them. Now since I'm family I have more power over them so by the time you arrive in Hollywood I expect this all to be sorted out and you to be packed ready to come home with me. Now tell whoever I was talking to earlier that I'll call back to confirm everything." And with that she hung up. I pulled the phone away from my face, confused. I don't know how to feel... I'm going to be taken away from my sunshines and placed with an aunt I've never even met! This can't happen can it? I hope not.

I slowly walked out to the living room where the rest were, confused evident in all their eyes. I could feel them pleading with their eyes. I stay silent trying to piece the words together myself.

I didn't look at anyone as I said the words that tasted bitter coming off my mouth, "She wants full custody over me." The room was silent.
