Recap-
After heading back to our quarters and setting the mirror down gently on a table, I headed back to the party. - To seek out some much needed ale. Or better yet, Elven Wine.

I would tell my One and Daughter of the gift once the celebrations were over.

I had indeed returned to the loud, and rambunctious celebrations after much thought.
In time, years from now I would discover one thing: Lady Galadriel had seen our future. Not just mine, but Theia's, Kili's, my whole family. And I would be forever grateful for that elven looking glass.

With much to ponder on, I sought out my One, and some strong, elven wine. For one of the few days I sang. Rendering some of the present company quiet. For I wasn't known for singing, per se. At least, not while others, some strangers were present.

Thorin looked at me with love in his eyes, an arm wrapping around my waist. I glanced at him briefly, happiness shining in my eyes, scanning the room I met my daughters eyes also. Legolas behind her slightly. She smiled and joined in on singing.

Continuing to look about the room, Thráin stood near Fili. Kili not that far away with Tauriel, as always. Kili held her hand I noticed.

Bilbo was next to Gandalf, Beorn nearby. The odd ones out.

All in all, it was a nice, pleasant gathering. To see that races of all kinds dwarves, elves, humans, skin-changers, wizards, hobbits, elementals... Could indeed get along.

The song had ended long ago now, and the clapping, cheering, and comments hand ceased. I thanked them all. Thorin whispered in my ear, "well sung, my love."

To which I blushed, "I sung to Theia all the time in Rivendell." I replied.

Gandalf spoke up, "I believe, my good friends that it is time for this wonderful party to retire. Let's give the newly crowned King and Queen some time together."

We turned to him, unexpected. "Thank you Tharkûn." *Gandalf* Thorin spoke with a bow of his head.
I also bowed my head in thanks.

With more cheers, we left for our chambers.

I assumed Gandalf had everything in order, but perhaps I was wrong. Time would tell.

Thorin opened the door to our chambers with a slight creak~ I had to wonder how I'd open them myself, if he used basically half his strength?

Lighting the long unlit fire, he slowly headed to the bed and for once in a long time I was beyond nervous. Yes, we conceived Theia all those years ago in Bree. But now, was a different story. My feet felt like lead, I dragged them to the soft, cushioned bed. I remembered the pain. Did I want to go through that again?

Thorin slowly walked up to me, taking my arms, looking me in the eyes, studying my face. "What's wrong my love?"
I looked at him. "I'm afraid." I admitted quietly.
He furrowed his eyebrows, confused. "Of what?"
"Pain. Like in Bree." I spoke quietly.
He hugged me tight.
"There will be no pain, love. We need not do anything if you needn't want to." He reassured me.
I buried my head in his neck.
Pulling back, I shook my head and smiled.

Walking towards the bed, I kept his words in my mind. "There will be no pain, love."
Laying down, one would find a repeat of Bree, however this time without pregnancy.
Thorin was right, no pain.
We spent days away from the others. Just being ourselves. The King and Queen could wait a day or two. Surely?

As if reading our thoughts, Kili nearly burst in, in a sheer panic.
We jumped out of bed, clothing on, thank Aulë, grabbing a robe. "Kili, what's wrong?" I asked my new nephew.
"Thranduil, he's all but demanding to take Tauriel back with him back to Mirkwood." He gasped out, looking at us both panicked.
Now, if anyone knew about One's, it would be that it is a Dwarves number one rule is Not to separate them.

I all but stomped out of the room, robe or not. I'm the Queen for heavens sake they can deal with it.
"Kili." I called, "where is Thranduil?" I asked, barely keeping calm.
"He's packing, outside of the gates and was in mid-argument with Tauriel when I left. Fili's stalling."
"Show me." I ordered.
Kili nodded.
Thorin stayed in the room, letting me 'handle' this situation.

Arriving on the scene, the argument paused as they saw us. Kili held Tauriel's hand once more and I stepped in between everyone.
Fili stepped nearer to Kili and Tauriel as well.
Glaring at King Thranduil, I stated, "you will not be taking Tauriel anywhere. You will have to go through me, the Queen of Erebor, an Elemental."
He cocked an eyebrow. "Is that supposed to faze me? Queen Under The Mountain."
"It is against Dwarven laws to take away their One, elf." I informed.
"Tauriel, is no dwarf." He stated.
"No, but she is Kili's One."
Thranduil rolled his eyes, "Tauriel come home."
"This is my home." She spoke, holding Kili's arm.
Thranduil made to step forward, but I blasted him back with air.
"In the mountain, now." I ordered while he was stunned.

Behind me, I could hear elven curses and put up a shield once more, protecting Erebor.
"Away with you, Thranduil!" I yelled.
He gave me an ice-cold glare and stormed off, putting his sword back in its hilt.
"That was wise." I whispered to myself as the gates closed. Referring to Thranduil laying down his arms.
"Are you okay, my Queen?" Gavin asked a little flustered at my appearance.
"Hm? Oh, yes. A family emergency is all. Please excuse me."
"Of course, my Queen." He bowed.

I quickly hurried after Fili, Kili, and Tauriel who were in no doubt going to Thorin.
This... Was going to be a tale to tell.

- Short A/N -
Hey everyone! So it turns out, I'm not dead. - As previously mentioned, I didn't give up 😊.
Life just uhm, prolonged this story and I got Highly frustrated with the Lady Galadriel chapter.
She put my writing on pause. Blame her! 🤣 My brain froze! - I started literally writing last night, March 10th, 2023 at 1am... With one sentence in mind.
(And my husband accidentally started pushing me off the bed.)
Also, the fact that I had 2 Brain Surgeries for my seizures in 2022, for the Neuropace RNS, had me healing. I still am. But, it is indeed implanted! I do however have to leave every 3 months to have it re-adjusted. No biggy.
All in all, I hope, and pray that my OC's aren't too out. Of character! Lemme know!
I will go back and read further chapters.
*waves* hope you've enjoyed the story so far! Bye!
