Recap- "Stay safe Legolas, keep a sharp eye out." Tauriel spoke.
"You, too, Tauriel."

Hugs, and temporary farewells said we got on our steeds and began riding in our separate directions. Looking back at one another.

Would we all survive?

Kili and Tauriel would head to the Skin-Changer's known as Beorn,
Elara and Fili will go West in search of a certain Wizard,
Legolas and I to Rivendell.
We would report to my Adad and Amad, the King and Queen of Erebor along our journeys via our Ravens that wouldn't be far behind us.

Gandalf POV

I rode in haste, knowing disaster would follow should they enter that forest alone.
They had each other and that would not be enough I feared. The Lady Galadriel provided me with provisions shall it be needed. 'Just a little further now.' I thought.

Making it to them just as their backs turned away, "Stop!" I yelled, hurrying off my horse with the provisions.

"Gandalf? What are you doing here?" Fili questioned.
"I came, to aid you in your journey."
Fili nodded.
"Thank you, that is most kind." Elora spoke.
"You're welcome my dear. You must be Fili's One."
"Yes, I am. Elora. I'm a skin-changer much like Beorn. Though nothing nearly as frightful."
"Yes, well we must be on our way. Before we enter, I have these to give you. They're from a friend of mine."
Fili and Elora took a vial of odd-looking liquid.
"Must we drink this?" Fili asked hesitant.
"Yes, unless you prefer the forest to take over your minds."
"No, thank you. I'd rather not repeat that experience."
"I have a vial too." I spoke, reassuring the couple.

The three of them drank the Elvish liquid and headed off into the Forest known as Mirkwood.
"Now, follow me."
"How do you know where we're heading?" Elora asked.
"A friend told me. You need not know more than that."
"An Elf?" Fili suspected.
"Yes, if you must know." Gandalf answered.
"We must hurry now, this concoction may not last long." He spoke.
"You're not going to urge us to "run" again, are you Gandalf?" Fili nearly groaned.
The number of times Gandalf ordered them to "run" during their quest was quite too many for his liking.

Gandalf eyed him sideways. "No. Not unless it's dire."
With those words spoken, the trio hurried through Mirkwood before night hit towards the Wizard that was clad in Brown. Radagast. who lived at Rhosgobel. And who was also Gandalf's cousin.

It took four days of hurrying through the forest to reach Radagast the Brown's dwelling. For his dwelling was on the western boarders of Mirkwood. And on the mid-day of the fourth, the potion began to wear off.

As they reached the Brown Wizard's yard, critters scattered everywhere in hiding of foreign people.
Elora attempted to call them out of hiding as Radagast opened his door.
"Gandalf, my friend. Why have you come?"
"I am aiding these two. Fili, Thorin's heir. And Elora..."
"Elora! I haven't seen you in ages my dear. Come here, come here." He urged her forward.
She laughed and hugged her old friend. "Hello Radagast."
Gandalf raised an eyebrow and leaned on his staff.
"Elora stayed with Radagast, and Beorn." Fili informed Gandalf.
"Hmm, indeed?"

"Inside now, come on." Radagast rushed them inside.
Once they all were comfortable, he wanted explanations.
Fili and Elora were more than glad to tell what was going on and ask if Radagast had witnessed anything stranger than normal.

"I have heard whispers of Dunlendings being seen roaming, and more whispers of Sauron coming into power. But no solid evidence. Though the forest has indeed gotten darker." Radagast explained.

"Darker how?" Gandalf asked.
"Spiders for one. You and I both know an evil is brewing, with The Nine now roaming."
"The Nazgul?" Elora asked.
"Yes, my dear. I'm afraid so. However, Sauron cannot come into full power unless The One Ring is found. So do not worry." Radagast tried to reassure her.

Gandalf smoked from his pipe, staring out of Radagast's window.
"But that is exactly what I fear. That is has been found. Though, for now call it the simple ramblings of an old wizard until I find more evidence." Gandalf spoke.

"We have four others searching for evidence too." Fili informed them.
"Yes, yes I know. Your brother and Tauriel, and Theia - your cousin and Legolas." Gandalf said.

Radagast looked thoughtful. "Well, I don't know much of your plans, but you are most welcome to stay here at Rhosgobel. - Though you will have to get use to mushrooms, for it is how the air of the forest doesn't affect me. I make a potion; you may say out of them."

Both Fili and Elora's faces paled at the thought of mushrooms. "We'll stay if you don't mind. Thank you, Radagast."

"Thank you for being a wonderful host. I must bid you all farewell, for I myself have things to look into." Gandalf stood and took his leave with his farewell.

Fili and Elora enjoyed staying with Radagast and learned a few things as well.
Elora learned how to heal injuries. As for Fili his tracking skills improved.

And Radagast himself, learned that he had a surprising protectiveness in him. Not just for Elora, But Fili too. They were each other's half. And Radagast was determined to keep these two safe while they were under his roof.

The couple often went to bed wondering and worrying about their family. They hadn't heard a word. Neither knew if that was good, or bad.

Speaking of which - Fili reminded himself to send a Raven to his uncle tomorrow. They all promised they would keep in touch.

For tonight however, they were safe and that's what mattered.

~*~*~*~*~*~
Hey guys! So, here I am, typing and struggling hard-core on my new laptop. (Since the keyboard size is way bigger.) This chapter went a little different than planned. But so many of them have in the long run! I did Fili and Elora's journey in this chapter only on purpose.

And the mushrooms... If you remember Saurman talking about "Radagast's excessive consumption of mushrooms." I got an idea to why not have those help keep Mirkwood's foul tricks of the mind away?

Oh, and I'm also recovering from a concussion, black eye, and pick-axe headaches since the 11th of August. Eye appointment coming up for glasses, hopefully I'll heal soon!

I apologize for the lateness of this chapter! And I honestly think this book wants to go into Lord of the Rings. I can't find an ending! Help!
