Recap-
Fili stood, "a toast!"
I laughed and joined in. We all did.
My daughter was getting married, it felt like only yesterday that Arwen was dressing her up.

I missed those care-free days in Rivendell and yet, I didn't. I needed my One by my side. So did Theia, she needed her Adad and Legolas along with the rascals called cousins.

I wondered where the world would take us, what it had planned?

I was slightly worried, but that was normal for a parent.

The worst was over. At least, that was what I hoped.

We had a wedding to look forward to!

A month had passed, and much had occurred.
Dis thanked both Gandalf and Bilbo.
She insisted on gifting the said wizard something. But he'd laugh and say that Thráin was his friend, it was the least he could do.

By now, Theia had her wedding planned, which was to happen very soon.

Right now, I stood on a balcony with Thorin over-looking the plains and Dale in the distance.

I spotted Fili, walking alone to the stables, he had hunting gear with him which was rare.
Turning to Thorin I spoke concerned, "do you think he'll be alright?"
His eyebrows furrowed. Arms crossed, Thorin replied "Fili is strong, he will find his way."
"I think being...alone is getting to him." I whispered, watching Fili ride towards the woods.
Thorin nodded in agreement.
"A life without a One can be lonesome, you and I both know this..." He spoke.
"Yes, all too well." I mumbled, sadly. I very much disliked the fact that Thorin had to leave us behind.

We watched as the shadows of the woods covered Fili from our sight.
Sighing, I hoped he would be alright with time.

"Come, love, lets go." Thorin encouraged.
I followed without argument.
Walking into Theia's chambers, I saw her standing on a stool being poked and prodded with needles, dressmakers were making her a wedding dress. And Theia, was getting impatient of being a doll it seemed.
She sent me a look that begged of help me.
I laughed. "Sorry darling, I went through the same thing."
She sighed. "How much longer?"
"Just a few mere more moments miss." A young dwarrowdam spoke.
"Thank you. My arms are getting rather stiff, as are my legs."

The dressmakers soon finished their creative dress-making, and measuring letting my daughter sag in relief.
She came to sit next to me. "I don't know how you did it."
"Patience and a strong will, Theia." I replied.

The following days were much the same for my daughter though not as long, thank the Valar.
Legolas was seen being kept away and also was having measurements taken.

Fili POV

Erebor, my home, and seemly living hell too. For all around stood love-struck, puppy eyed people. My amad understood. Her heart broke for me. I was the lone wolf. I awoke and went to sleep with Kili talking about Tauriel. We had separate quarters, yes. However his morning and nighttime words always began or ended with "Tauriel" it seemed.

I had to get away, if even for a bit. Birds filled the sky. Ravens of course, hawks too. Deer lingered by but seemed skittish. The hawks watched with a keen eye. I thought about shooting a hawk, it would be good for dinner. But thought better of it. Erebor's Ravens wouldn't like me for it.

I silently got off the pony and shot the deer, killing it in two shots. Kili would have killed it in one.

I hauled the doe over to the pony. And secured it.

Back turned towards the forest, I heard the danger too late.

Looking through the deer's now glassy-eyes, I saw a warg snarl, going to swipe at my head.
Several things happened, Erebor's Raven's attacked the stray Warg, along with a couple hawks, and two dire-wolves.
This left me time to grasp for my sword and help run the beast through.
Though, I wondered why all of these animals attacked?
'Is it because the Warg invaded their forest?'
Shaking my head, I spoke "Thank you." Not knowing if the hawks, or dire-wolves could understand me. Erebor's Ravens were known for their ability to speak.
I then headed back towards Erebor, leading the pony.

The cooks needed this meat, and I could investigate what happened if I wished so, at a later time.

Reaching the stables, I thanked the men as they helped me get the deer off the pony. They then helped me get it to the cooks. One being Bombur.
"Ah, good find lad. This will do fine."
"You're welcome, Bombur." I spoke, heading back upstairs.
My mind set on telling Thorin about what happened. About the Warg. 'What if it wasn't a stray? But a scout?'

I stood, gathering my thoughts before knocking on the King's study.
"Enter."  Came Thorin's voice.
I slowly eased open the door.
"Fili." He greeted. "How was your trip?"
"Eventful. That's why I'm here, uncle." I spoke, pacing.
"Sit, Fili. What happened?" Thorin asked.
"I went to hunt, and I did. I struck a deer. However, a warg appeared as I was busy and the forest's beasts, attacked it as I got my weapon. Is that...Normal, uncle?"
"You're sure it was a lone Warg?" He questioned.
Nodding, "I believe so."
"Good."
"As for it being normal? I'm unsure. Erebor is unique in many ways, Fili. Remember that."
I stood, as did Thorin. "Thank you uncle."
"Certainly. We're kin."
"Now go, I'm sure your amad is wondering where you are." Thorin spoke, smiling.

Thorin stood, pacing in his study wondering what Fili had witnessed.
'Was Erebor to be attacked again?' He worried.
