Recap-

I quickly left and went in search for my mothers new bow and quiver.
With a smile on my face, I grabbed it and now searched for her.
She was no doubt on the bridge, under the willow tree, or just well...with nature.
"Mom?" I called out.
"Over here Amara!" She yelled.
I raced over, bow and quiver in hand.
"I found something for you on our travels, I hope you like it." I said, handing it over to her.
She gently took it from me, eyes wide examining it.
"These are beautiful Amara! Thank you." She stood and hugged me.
"Your welcome, mom."
"I talked to Adad earlier, he apologized for not believing me earlier."
"That's good."
"However....He's concerned for our safety along this quest." I added.
"That stubborn Dwarf." She muttered.
"Though, they are known to be over protective towards females." She stated.
"Yeah, I figured as much. They risked their lives when I got caught by Trolls."
Her head snapped in my direction. "And where was Gandalf?"
"...He kind of got fed up with Thorin and took a break to search ahead."
"And how did you all get out of that mess?"
"Well, I used my powers to set the Trolls butts on fire as a distraction."
Amara smirked, "that's my girl."
"Come, lets join the others. I haven't fully, officially met them yet."

Mom and I started wandering around Rivendell to look for The Company. I was silently nervous. Yes, they had aweful manners, were loud, and many more things. But were good-natured, loyal, and much more when it came down to everything. I should know - I was part Dwarf. Though I was still of course learning how to act around them. My kin. It was hard being around Elves and Dwarves at the same time. To be honest? I was lucky that half of them didn't hate the Rivendell Elves. Including Adad.

As we continued our search, keeping our ears open for loud noises, mom pointed in a direction that she heard cheering and shouting come from. We quickened our walking.

Soon, the sight of Rivendell's treasured fountain came into view...with the company bare naked. I froze, mentally scarred.
Adad was there, too. Some of the Dwarves were on each others shoulders trying to push the others off. While mom stood next to me, silently laughing.
"I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean for you to meet them like this. You've seen the company before, of course. But to meet them like this." I was horrified.
"I know what they're capable of, Theia. Dwarves can be...unpredictable. At best."
Remembering that she had more Elven in her then I did, I shook my head, she could no doubt see everything. I cringed at that.
We stood, looking at them - well, me looking down. She was laughing. Which, unfortunately caught the ears of some of them.
Underneath my eyelashes, I saw Kili turn towards us, waving no doubt.
Others followed, but Adad quickly silenced them.
'Thank Aulë.'
"Lets...wait for them to finish fooling around then I'll properly introduce you."
Gaining one more laugh, she agreed.

It was now nighttime and we went to the dining area. Only...to find broken up furniture, and the Dwarves camping out in their own little corner, Bifur roasting some "green food.", Bofur cooking a sausage, and Bombur sat on a stool with a plate full of food. We entered just in time to witness Bofur look to his sausage and yell "Bombur!", who quickly caught it without thinking...and the stool/table broke beneath his weight. The Dwarves laughed, while mom quietly sighed, leaning against the wall and I rushed to help a stuck Bombur up.
"That was quite rude, you know." Mom spoke.
Heads turned.
"Lady Amara. My apologies, we were only having fun." Bofur spoke, standing.
She lent away from the wall. "How is it you know of me?"
"Thorin. Over the years he's told us stories. To keep your memory alive." Balin explained.
I pitched in. "You must remember, you may know my mother...but she doesn't know of you."
"Right you are, lassie." Balin agreed, forgetting.
They then went off on telling their names.

"It's a pleasure to meet the company of my betrothed." Amara said sincerely.
"And now it's your company. With the agreement of Thorin." Balin added.
"We'll see, Balin." Amara smiled.
"If you forget the names, I'll remind you." I assured her.
"Thank you, Theia."

An hour or so later, mom searched for Adad while I stayed behind with the company.

~*~*~*~*~ With Amara and Thorin ~*~*~*~*~
Amara POV
(Instead of Bilbo, Picture Amara being with Thorin, please)

Amara heard Gandalf speaking, to whom? Elrond.
"Of course I was going to tell you. I was waiting for this very chance. And really, I think you can trust that I know what I am doing."
"Do you? That dragon has slept for 60 years. What will happen if your plan should fail, if you wake that beast?"
"What if we succeed? If the Dwarves take back the mountain our defenses in the east will be strengthened." Gandalf argued.
She continued onward and soon found Thorin on one of Rivendell's many bridges, he was overhearing Gandalf and Lord Elrond talking. Like she feared.
"It is a dangerous move, Gandalf." Elrond replied.
I turned to Thorin, "You are doing the right thing, Thorin. To reclaim Erebor."
"It is also dangerous to do nothing. Oh, come, the throne of Erebor is Thorin's birthright. What is it you fear?" Gandalf questioned.
"Have you forgotten? A strain of madness runs deep in that family. His grandfather lost his mind. His father succumbed to the same sickness. Can you swear Thorin Oakenshield will not also fall? Or the rest of his Kin? Gandalf, these decisions do not rest with us alone. It is not up to you or me to redraw the map of Middle-earth." Elrond argued.
Thorin took in a deep, sharp breath.
Amara's eyes narrowed.
She turned, and grabbed his hands. "You will not fall." She reassured him.
"But what if I do? Or what if Theia does, or Kili, Fili?" He questioned, getting more upset.
"Then we will find a way to bring whoever it is, back from the sickness." She said strongly.
"I will always be beside you, Thorin. And our family. Never forget that."
Thorin pulled her into a hug, "when we get to Erebor there shall be a grand wedding, my love."
She kissed him, smiling. "I can hardly wait."
Together they walked back to the others, where they were sleeping.

Tomorrow would prove to be a new day.

However, Amara got woken up by Gandalf in the middle of the night with a message, saying that they must leave in two days bright and early - otherwise they'd be forced to stay. That, worried her.

Hey guys, I'd make it longer but my creativity has sadly run out (for now) and I have to start cleaning for puppies who are due in September! 😮
I still have limits, like no bending nor lifting more then 10 pounds so it'll be difficult. *sigh*
