Recap-

Thorin turned to mom and I, "and you, my daughter and my One. May have the gift of the Elements on your side - but please be more careful. Azog now knows we're related. He will be after us all." He spoke, looking to Fili and Kili.
I looked down. "I'm sorry, Adad. I couldn't risk you dying when I could've done something."
"Thorin, she's right. It's not in our nature to sit back and simply watch. Nor did I teach her to do so. I trained Theia to use her powers to help others, to defend herself. As for myself, you need not worry my love. I know my limits. But you also know what the bond of a One does. I'll do what's necessary to protect this family. This Company."
Thorin smiled and pulled us into a hug.

Looking over our shoulders, he stared.
"Is that what I think it is?" Bilbo asked.
Hope shown in the eyes of the Dwarves.
"Erebor the Lonely Mountain the last of the great Dwarf kingdoms of Middle Earth." Gandalf spoke, explaining.
"Our home." Adad stated. Looking at his family.
"A raven!" Oin exclaimed.
"That, Oin is actually a Thrush." I smiled.
"The birds are returning to The Mountain."
"We'll take it as a sign. A good omen." Thorin said.
"You're right. I do believe the worst is behind us." Bilbo spoke, positively.

Little did they know, that, that Little Thrush woke the Dragon, Smaug...

After a good week of resting, and recovery for my Adad at a safer location, we made our way towards yet another unknown location. We sent Bilbo out to scout, for any...unsavory beings.
A half an hour later, he returned in a hurry. Running.
"How close is the pack?" Thorin questioned.
"Too close. A couple of leagues, no more. But thats not the worst of it." Bilbo spoke, hurriedly.
"Have the Wargs picked up our scent?" Dwalin asked.
"Not yet, but they will do. We have another problem." Bilbo answered.
"Did they see you?" Gandalf questioned.
"They saw you!"
"No, thats not it."
"Hm. What did I tell you? Quiet as a mouse. Excellent burglar material."
The dwarves started chattering.
Mom and I looked at each other.
"Will you please let the poor Hobbit speak!" Mom spoke over them.
"Thank you, Amara." Bilbo smiled her way, gratefully.
"I'm trying to tell you, there is something else out there." Bilbo said, pointing in the direction he came.
"Oh, no..." Kili murmured.
"What now?" I sighed.
"What form did it take? Like a bear?" Gandalf asked gravely, mysteriously.
"Y-yes, but bigger. Much bigger." Bilbo replied.
Mom, I, along with the others looked at the Wizard questioningly.
'How did he know?'
"You knew about this beast?" Bofur asked Gandalf.
Gandalf turned around, his back facing us.
'What's going on?'
"I say we double back." Bofur said in a rush.
"And be run down by a pack of Orcs? I will not risk the lives of any in this Company, nor my family." Thorin spoke.
"There is a house..." Gandalf began, while turning around to face us. "It's not far from here, where we might take refuge."
"Who's house? Are they friend or foe?" Adad asked, tired of Gandalf's games.
"Neither." Gandalf simply replied, "He will help us or he will kill us."
"Well that's comforting." Mom replied.
"Indeed..." I whispered.
"What choice do we have?" Thorin questioned Gandalf just as a very loud growl was heard above us.
"None." He stated.
