JUSTIN
Waking up with Jen asleep against my chest was the most beautiful thing I've felt in a long time. Even if we were only sleeping on the sofa until the early afternoon, and we woke up to the sun blaring in our eyes and Chase watching the basketball game on TV.
We'd been on the phone to each other the entire night before, after getting back from the club, only hanging up to shower and come to Chase's house.
Standing here and saying goodbye again though, is absolutely fucking horrible.
"Text me." She says, as she leans back against her car door. I nudge her legs apart and stand between them, pressing myself against her, and kiss her forehead, then each cheek, her chin and then hover over her lips.
"You're gonna text me back straight away right? You won't make me wait?" I question, speaking of all the times she'd take so long to reply, throwing me some new excuse.Finding out she'd been dancing and taking her clothes off for other men, while I sat anxiously waiting for her to text back was like a kick in the balls.
Her tongue peaks out and runs across my bottom lip teasingly. I groan as my knees weaken.
"I'll text back. Every time. I promise." She replies. "Are you going home? Like...your house home?"
"Our house home, yes." I correct her. "You should come... to our house home...with me..." my lips brush up against the soft skin of her neck, and when I inhale, I can taste her on my tongue.
"Yeah?"
"Mmhmmmm."
"You know I can't just yet." She replies sadly..
"Not even for an hour? It's only 2pm now. You said he wouldn't finish work until 3am... that gives us hours and hours! Then I can escort you back there."
"I'll follow you."
"You can't remember where it is?" I tease, brushing my nose against her ear.
"I can, but I'd like to follow you. For the rest of my life. If I can't walk by your side, I'll follow you. Wherever you want to be, whatever you want to do, I'll follow because I love you."
"What if I want to follow you in the same ways?"
"Well...We'd be walking a really tight circle, in which case, we may as well hold hands and walk together."
"I love you." I whisper.
"I love you too. Now hurry up and drive bitch, we're wasting precious time here." She winks.****
"You know, people usually look out the windscreen when they're driving, not in the rear-view fucking mirror." Jen says, slamming her car door and teasing me for the fact I'd barely been able to take my eyes off of her, even if she was in the car behind me.
I smirk as she opens the car door again, and then slams it with all her power. Realizing it still isn't shut properly, she tries once more, literally throwing her whole body weight into it. Well, what's left of her body weight. It still doesn't close, and she cusses under her breath, mumbling about the 'stupid piece of shit'.
"You okay there?" I grin, leaning against the back of my car and watching her every move.
"You think if I left the keys in the ignition, I'd be lucky enough for someone to steal it?" She asks, walking towards me.
"You want the honest answer or the polite answer?" I take her hand and lead her to the front door as she looks over the lawn.
"We can't all own monster trucks." She mumbles, leaning over to pick a few weeds from the garden with one hand, her other hand still in mine.
"May I remind you that you do actually own a 'monster truck', and it might even still start if you're lucky." I poke her ass with my foot, and laugh as she smacks me away.
"We need to do the gardening." She mumbles, standing up and brushing her hand off on her shorts.
"The house will probably smell. I haven't opened it up in forever."
"Fuck. We should probably clean. All the food left in the fridge, the cupboards..."
"Shut the fuck up. You're not cleaning." I scold.
