While everybody was talking, the trumpet music played again, signalling for everybody to sit down in their respective sides of the hall and to be quiet. The two headmistresses of the schools walked out from opposite sides of the stage and they looked like they were going to murder each other.

The two said something to each other before professor Dovey turned and laughed, while Lady Lesso turned and had a sour look on her face.
"Welcome, First-year students! I am professor Dovey. Dean for the School of Good!"

As soon as Dovey finished speaking, all of the girls around Maddy and Agatha started chanting 'Evers', because that must have been what they were called. Lesso was not in the mood for this chanting.

"And I am Lady Lesso. Dean for the School of Evil." Lesso smirked and then the evil kids started chanting 'kill you'. They were very aggressive. Dovey had a mad look on her face and she would have killed them all if she was allowed.

Instead, she hit her staff against the ground causing a loud metal clashing sound to come out of it and stop the Nevers from chanting.
"As per tradition!" Dovey started just to make sure that she had everybody's attention again.

"The winning school from last year, us again, imagine that!" She giggled and looked around as she got off track and then began to talk again.
"Will now grace us all, with their chivalrous talents." Dovey finished saying and smiled.

"What does she mean?" Maddy looked to her right and asked Kiko who happened to be sitting next to her.
"Every year the winning school from the pervious year get's to show the new students their talents and abilities. It's always the princes though, we never get to show off our powers." Kiko smiled towards her new friend who just nodded her head, waiting for the show to begin.

"Gentleman!" Dovey yelled to the back of the room, and on that cue, all of the boys from the school for Good marched on time, and into the room, in straight formations. This was something that Maddy would have to learn and get used to, so she was paying extra attention.

All the Ever girls cheered and clapped after seeing the boys walk out on the floor. Agatha on the other hand looked like she wanted to vomit, and be anywhere else but where she was. Maddy looked over to the other side of the room and noticed Sophie basically drooling over all of the boys.

She thinks she's a princess, of course she's looking at the princes. Maddy thought to herself and focused back onto the men who were now standing in the middle of the floor, facing each other. The men got their swords from their sheaths and began doing a very staged, fake fight. Emphasis on fake.

There was no effort as they clearly were just trying to show off that they won and not any of their actual skills or talents. Everything that the boys were doing at this time, was all for show. The swapped sides and a boy dropped his sword as it came right over to Maddy. She kicked it up into her hand with her foot and held it out for the boy to grab as he walked passed the girls.

He smiled at the two readers, and then walked back into formation.
"How did you do that?" Kiko asked the girl next to her. She didn't really know how to explain it, as it was something that she's alway been able to do.

The boys finished their 'fights' and landed in formation with a loud grunt each while everyone on one side of the room cheered, and everyone on the other side booed and told them to get lost. This school was already so much.

The boys turned to face the Evers side, and each one of them grabbed a rose and threw it at someone they found attractive. When Maddy saw that she had a few roses in her lap she didn't exactly know what to say.

She turned to Kiko who was smiling holding a singular rose and looking at. boy with long brown hair. Once she looked back at the rose, it snapped and the girl looked like she was on the verge of crying.
