Tw// mentions of cancer
-"Josette Parker willingly calling me, I can't say I'm surprised I mean I am pretty great," Hope said as soon as she opened the door.
"You were the closest to my house don't flatter yourself," Josie said quickly putting in her shoes and grabbing her coat.
"Why are you in a hurry, I thought you wanted to go to the store or something."
"I need you to drive me to the hospital," Josie said turning to her.
"The hospital?? are you okay? what happened."
"It's not me it's my mom she's throwing up blood and I'm..." her voice trailed off.
"Oh god okay go get your mom I'll start the car," Hope said running to her car and pulling it up to the front for the brunette.
When the shorter girl saw Josie finally come out the brunette and her sister were helping their mother out of the apartment. Hope opened the door and the twins helped the sick woman into the car.
Josie sat in the passenger's seat and Hope got into the driver before driving out of the parking lot of the apartment complex.
As she got onto the road it was pretty much empty since it was nighttime and not many people drove this late.
Hope was at a red light when she heard coughing coming from the back seat. She looked over and saw the brunette's mother coughing up blood into a paper towel.
"Try not to get blood on the seats this is my mom's car..." Hope said to the woman before her gaze turned to Josie who was shooting her a glare.
"What?" she furrowed her eyebrows.
"My mom is coughing up blood and you are worried about your car seats."
"Don't get me wrong, I care it's just these seats are fabric! do you know how hard it is to get blood out of fabric?"
Josie just sighed and looked forward "the light is green."
Hope stared at her for a moment before she went back to driving to the hospital.
When they arrived at the hospital Josie immediately ran in and got a wheelchair for her mom before rolling it out and bringing it toward the side of the car her mother was on.
She and Lizzie helped the woman into it before bringing her into the hospital where they checked her in.
"Only 1 of you can go back with her," the nurse said.
"I'll go," Lizzie said and Josie nodded and squeezed her sister's shoulder.
"Text me with updates okay?" the brunette said before kissing her mom's forehead.
Lizzie nodded before going to the back with her mom and the nurse, leaving Josie and Hope standing in the waiting room.
The brunette sighed before walking over to one of the seats and sitting down, burying her face in her hands. A moment later she felt someone sit next to her, she looked over and saw Hope staring over at her.
