"Mom you are truly the best" Hope said hugging her mom tightly.
"You're just lucky the twin's Uncle said yes to them staying... took a lot of convincing," Hope said hugging her daughter back.
They both broke their hug when they heard the doorbell ring "that's them" Hope said and made her way to the door and opened it.
"Hey," Josie said and Hope leaned in and kissed her on the lips.
"Hey mut," Lizzie said stepping into the house.
"I appreciate you letting them stay, I, of course, will be sending you money while they stay here," Kai said setting the girl's suitcases down.
"Happy to have them here," the woman said with a smile.
"You girls be good okay?" the girl's uncle said giving them both a hug. They both nodded and watched their uncle leave the house.
"Okay so I do have a few rules," Hayley said and the three girls turned to her.
"The door must stay open during the day."
"What? since when is that a rule," Hope said raising an eyebrow.
"Since my 17-year-old daughter's girlfriend moved in with us," Hayley said.
"Curfew is 9 pm on the weekdays and midnight on the weekends that's how it has always been with Hope."
Josie and Lizzie both nodded.
"You all must have your cellphones on you at all times in case I need to reach you, I sometimes call just to make sure you're safe."
"And that's pretty much it, Josie and Lizzie you two will sleep in the guest room, Hope show them to their room."
"Yes mom," Hope said taking her girlfriend's suitcase and leaving Lizzie to struggle with her own.
"This is the room it's a decent size for you both, but if you don't want to share we have a pullout couch," Hope said setting the bag down.
"Thanks, Hope" she gave her girlfriend a small smile.
"Of course," she said wrapping her arms around her girlfriend.
"Barf can you not with the PDA in front of me" Lizzie gagged.
Josie rolled her eyes and pulled away from Hope and began unpacking her clothes into one of the drawers.

A few hours later the three teenagers were sitting on the couch watching a new show called Wednesday when Hayley walked in.
"Dinner is done," Hayley said poking her head into the living room.
The girls made their way to the dining table and sat down "I made breakfast for dinner since Josie is vegan... and I don't know many vegan foods... so until I research some enjoy this" she said sitting at the front of the table.
"Thanks, mom it looks delicious" Hope smiled and her mom returned it.
"Honestly thank you Haykey for dinner and everything... I appreciate you letting us stay here" Josie said.
"You're very welcome honey" the woman smiled and they all began to pass around the eggs, pancakes, toast, and other things Hayley had prepared for them.
After dinner and Josie had showered she was sitting on her bed reading a book when she heard a soft knock and saw Hope leaning against the door.
Her girlfriend gave her a loving smile.
"Hey," Josie said marking the page she was reading with a bookmark and setting it on the nightstand.
"Hey, I just wanted to come to say goodnight" Hope walked closer and kissed her on the lips.
"Goodnight" she smiled.
"And I'm glad you're here... you seem happier," Hope said.
"I am" Josie nodded and smiled.
-
It was around midnight when Hope was woken up by Josie who was standing by her bedside sniffling.
Hope immediately sat up and looked at her girlfriend with concerned tired eyes "what's wrong?"
"I'm not happier" she cried and wiped her nose and eyes.
Hope frowned "do you want to sleep with me tonight?" she asked and the brunette nodded.
Hope lifted her covers and Josie crawled underneath them and wrapped her arm around her girlfriend's waist and buried her face in the girl's neck.
The auburnette felt the wet tear from Josie's cheek on her neck.
"I love you Josie..." she whispered and rubbed the girl's back.
"I love you too..." she whispered back and cuddled into her more.
