Double update 😁
-As Hope made her way toward the locker room she had a big smile on her face, she was looking forward to seeing her girlfriend even though she had seen her just yesterday.
Hope never knew she could love someone so much, she had wished she realized she liked Josie sooner.
When she walked into the local room she scanned the room not seeing the brunette "Maya where's Josie?"
The girl looked at her "she got called out today" she shrugged before turning back to her locker.
Well, that would explain why she didn't see the girl in their homeroom class.
Hope pulled her phone out and shot the girl a quick text checking up on her before putting her phone in her locker and changing into her uniform.
"Coach says everyone needs to be on the field in 5," one of their teammates said poking their head into the locker room.
Hope was starting to get worried, the brunette hadn't texted her in two days and she hadn't been at school.
Did she do something?
The auburnette sighed and sent what feels like her hundredth text to her girlfriend before walking out into the living room.
"Why do you look all grumpy" Hayley said to her daughter as she wiped down the coffee table.
"Josie hasn't talked to me in two days and I have no idea what I did," she said flopping down on the couch.
"Did you say anything that might have upset her?" Hayley said sitting next to her daughter.
"No! the last thing we said to each other was I'll see you tomorrow and kissed each other and now she's just straight up ghosting me."
"Well maybe give her some time and she'll tell you what you did?" she rubbed her daughter's back.
"I can't stand the thought of her being mad at me" Hope sighed.
"Well if you love her you'll just wait," she said softly.
"I will..." she pouted.
"How about we order takeout and watch a movie? like old times" Hayley smiled and bumped her shoulder with her daughters.
Hope gave her a small smile "okay."
A week.
It had been a week since she spoke to Josie and she was losing her mind. She has sent at least five hundred text messages and has called about a dozen times.
"Please answer," Hope said as she called the brunette's number only for it to go right to voicemail.
"Fuck" the auburnette said slamming her phone on the picnic table.
"Woah what did the table do dude" she heard Jen come up behind her.
Hope furrowed her eyebrows and turned to see her old roommate "what are you doing here?"
"My dealer meets me here" the girl held up a bag of weed before stuffing it into her pocket "what are you doing here?"
Hope shook her head "nothing I was just trying to call someone but... it doesn't matter
"Who were you trying to call."
"My girlfriend."
Jen smirked "girlfriend?"
"Yeah... I'm dating Josie Parker."
"Dude nice!" Jen smacked her on the shoulder "she's like really hot-"
"Okay that's enough of that- I know she's hot" Hope rolled her eyes.
"But yeah she won't return any of my texts or calls" the girl sighed and looked down at her phone.
"Damn dude that sucks."
"Yeah..."
"Well, I hope she answers eventually dude" Jen patted her on the back "I should probably get going but you should come to the Salvatore school when you can, we miss you."
"Thanks, and I will."
Hope sighed and got off the picnic table and made her way over to her mom's car and drove home.
-
The auburnette was brushing her teeth when she heard her phone ringing. She quickly ran over to her phone and picked it up.
Hope's eyes widened when she saw Josie's contact name.
She immediately answered "hi! hello?"
"Stop texting and stop calling" she heard Lizzie's voice say.
"Lizzie? what why?"
"Our mom died Hope... just... stop calling right now okay?" and with that, the phone hung up.
Hope's heart dropped.
