When Hope walked into Stefan's hotel room she sat on one of the beds while the couple sat on the bed across from her. There was a heavy silence over them, they just stared at each other not knowing what to say.
"I hope you didn't do the deed on the bed I'm sitting on," the teenager said, suddenly realizing what they probably did for her mother to stay the night in the man's room.
Stefan and Hayley looked at each other.
"Oh gross!" Hope said and stood up from the bed making a disgusted face. Hayley sighed and looked up at her daughter.
"Look, yes I'm dating Stefan, we have been dating for a few months now," she said honestly and Hope just shook her head.
"And you didn't think it'd be a good idea to tell me you were dating my coach?" the teen said crossing her arms.
"Well, I didn't want to tell you just in case things didn't work out! and how was I supposed to say I was dating your coach? I was just afraid you would react horribly!"
"Is that why he let me on the team? because you're with him" Hope frowned and looked between the two.
"Absolutely not, I've seen you play and you're amazing! your mother had nothing to do with it I promise" Stefan said and Hope just stared at him seeing the truth in his expression.
"Okay," she sighed.
"Okay?" Hayley said raising an eyebrow at her teenage daughter.
"It's going to take some getting used to but... if you make my mom happy and she wants you around then... I guess I'm okay with it."
Hayley smiled and brought her daughter in for a big hug to which the teenager returned.
"Thank you, sweetie, now go get your stuff we are leaving shortly" she kissed the top of her daughter's head and led her toward the door. Hope hugged her mom one last time before leaving.

Before making it back to the hotel room the shorter girl grabbed some coffee for Josie and herself.
She knew the girl liked coffee, the girl drank it a lot during their hangout session back at Hopes' house.
When she walked in Josie was zipping up her bag "I got you a coffee" she held it out and the brunette accepted it gratefully.
"You are a life saver... thank you," she said before taking a sip.
Hope stared at her for a bit longer than necessary before begging knocked out of her trance by Finch who barged into the room.
"Let's go coach wants us in the parking lot in 10."
As Josie took her seat on the bus she kept having weird visions of her kissing Hope. They almost felt real in a way but the brunette knew that wasn't the case.
With a sigh, the girl looked out the window of the bus and watched as Hope got on and sat next to Landon.
"You okay?" Maya said looking over the seat.
"I'm fine, why do you ask?" Josie looked up at her with a curious expression. The curly-haired girl just shrugged in response and rested her chin on the seat.
