"I don't know if I'm ready for this..." Josie said as she stood next to her sister and girlfriend outside of their school.

"Jo, you don't have to stay just go and try it out see if you can handle it" Lizzie rubbed her sisters back.

The brunette sighed and nodded.

"I'll be with you every step of the way..." Hope whispered and interlocked their hands together. Josie looked over at her girlfriend and let out a small smile.

"Thank-you..."

"We should get going now classes start in 20 minutes" her twin said and she took a deep breathe before stepping forward.

When the three walked into the school everyone's eyes turned to them, people were giving the twins looks of pity while others just stared at them with blank expressions.

"Oh lovely... I'm sure the school was updated on our situation?" Josie said and her twin looked down.

"Whatever... we should get to class" she looked to her girlfriend who nodded and the two started walking to their homeroom.

When got into class Hope and Josie took a seat in the back of the classroom and took out their notebooks from their backpacks.

When the teacher saw her she put a hand in the brunette shoulder "i'm sorry for your loss honey" she said before going back to the front.

"Todays going to be an easy day I'm assigning a small paragraph and a few questions, i trust you all can handle that" the teacher said before passing out work.

Josie sighed before laying her head on the desk. Hope watched her girlfriend with a frown on her face.

Josie still wasn't feeling good about the whole being back at school thing and Hope could tell the girl still wasn't okay but the brunette was trying.

"Parker, you don't have to play today if you don't feel up to it" Coach Stefan said.

"It's fine, it'll probably be a good distraction" she said and tied her shoe laces before running with the other girls around the track.

When the shorter girl went to follow she was stopped by Stefan "Hey Hope, your mom is in my office and she wanted to speak with you."

"Okay..." Hope said slowly before turning around and walking inside.

She knew what the woman wanted to speak about she just hoped she wasn't mad.

When she walked into the office her mother was sitting in the office chair. Hayley gestured for her to sit down.

Hope sat down and looked at her mother "did i do something?"

"So you're just skipping school now? Hope you know how important getting your education is, you know what it means to me that you succeed."

"Mom..."

"No Hope i'm serious what the hell where you thinking?" the brunette crossed her arms.

"I was helping Josie mom."

"Oh" Hayley said lowering her arms "how is she by the way? i was wanting to ask but figured you didn't know too much."

"She wouldn't get out of bed for 2 weeks Lizzie said, and when i went over there i just wanted to have a conversation to convince he to get out of bed and it seem to have worked... I didn't want to just skip i needed to mom, she needed me."

"You did the right thing Hope... I'm sorry i got mad before hearing you out."

"It's fine... she's just in a really bad place and i wanted to be there for her..."

"God you have such a big heart" Hayley said wrapping her arms around her daughter, bringing the girl into a big hug.

"I must have gotten that from you" Hope smiled and hugged her mom back.

After about a minute of hugging they pulled back and Hayley looked at her daughter.

"You said she's doing bad? why not have her talk to Cami, she's always willing to help."

"She's dads friend... I don't want him trying to bud in."

"He doesn't have to know, plus this is for your girlfriend who just experienced a big loss."

"Yeah... okay fine i'll talk to her about it and see if she's okay with doing it, I don't want to force her into it."

When Hope had driven the twins back to their apartment the striker decided to hang out with the two for a bit.

"Uh Jo can we talk? I know i said i wanted to hang out but i actually have something i want to ask you."

"Uh... yeah..." Josie said unsurely before going into her room followed by Hope.

"So..."

The brunette sat down and just stared up at her.

"I have this family friend... and I think she could really help you... her name is Cami" Hope started but was cut off by her girlfriend.

"Help me? help me how?"

"She's a therapist."

"You think i need therapy??"

"All i know is that you are not okay Josie, everyone can see it and you know it please don't fight me on this."

"Get out please."

"Jo-"

"Please."

"Fine, but please call me if you want to see her, she helped me a lot when i was a kid and she can do the same for you."

Josie just crossed her arms and sat there not even looking at her girlfriend. Hope sighed and spared one last glance at the girl before walking out.
