When Hope and Landon arrive at the movie theater the auburnette notices it's a drive-in theater. She had always wanted to go to one, she didn't know they had these in mystic falls.

Landon pulled his truck to the admissions booth, he paid for a movie and the person handed them a speaker that would be playing the movie.

With that the curly-haired boy found a parking put for them and got out of his truck. Confused, Hope decided to get out and follow the boy. She saw him open the back of his truck and lay out a blanket along with some pillows.

"This is all really sweet Landon... Thank you" Hope says genuinely and the boy smiles at her as he put the speaker ok the side of his car.

"You get comfortable and ill go get us some snacks, is there any particular drink you want?" he points at her.

"A sprite? If they don't have that water please" she smiled.

When she noticed the boy walk towards the food stands she crawled into the back of the truck and lay down, staring at the big screen.

The striker took out her phone and began scrolling through her Instagram feed, her scrolling soon stopped when she saw a post from Josie. The photo was of the brunette and her sister, Josie had the biggest smile ever.

Hope smiled as her eyes went all over the photo.

"They had sprite so I just got you water too," he said setting the drinks down along with the popcorn and candy he bought. Hope jumped a bit at the boy's sudden presence

"Thanks, Landon," she said as the boy got into the back of the truck with her. Tonight the drive-in was screening the outsiders.

"Have you seen this movie?"

"Yeah, I read the book in middle school with my class and we watched the movie too" she nodded and took a sip of her sprite.

"Cool me too!" he said and the two of them continued to talk until the movie began playing.

Josie was on her bed scrolling through her Instagram story when she saw Hopes' story. The girl posted a photo of her and Landon along with a drive-in.

"He took her to a drive-in" she groaned and threw her phone down on the bed before getting up and making her way out of her room.

"What's wrong honey?" Josette looked up at her daughter who looked sad.

"Landon took Hope to a drive-in theater! Can you believe that? We aren't even in the '60s anymore what is he thinking."

"Drive-in theaters are quite fun," her mom said "is this really about the drive-in theater?" she said an eyebrow

"Yes, no, I don't know" she sighed and sat on her mom's bed, resting her head on the woman's chest.

"Well whatever is going on, I'm sure everything will turn out alright," the woman said stroking bee daughter's hair.

"No, it's not, they are going to get together and stay together for the rest of the year and get married and have beautiful curly-haired children" she frowned.

"Where is all this coming from? Last I heard you didn't like Hope Mikaelson that much."

"That was months ago, we're friends now."

"So shouldn't you be happy for your friend? She finds someone she likes" Josette said and Josie pulled away.

"I am happy for her."

"Doesn't seem like it."

"I am! In happy for Hope I! I am!" Josie stood up and her mother smirked at her.

"You done?"

"Yes," she sighed.

"Well it's obvious that you like Hope," her mother said and Josie furrowed her eyebrows and started laughing.

"Where did you get that from? I don't like her."

"Oh you definitely do," Lizzie said walking into the apartment and into her room. Josie rolled her eyes at her sister before turning back to her mother.

"You seem really jealous that Landon is going out with Hope."

"I..." Josie said.

"It's okay if you like her baby, but if you do then you should probably tell her before Landon and her go too far, who knows she might like you too."

The brunette bit the inside of her cheek as she thought about what her mom said.

The truth was Josie didn't know if she liked Hope or not. But she wanted to tell the auburnette about her confusing feeling so when she got out of the car the brunette made her way down the hall toward Hope's locker.

She slowed in her tracks when she saw Landon and Hope at the girl's locker.

She saw the curly-haired boy smile and hesitantly lean in and place a small kiss on the girl's mouth. Hope just looked up at him and gave him a small smile.

It's too late...
