I looked at Silas as we sat in the car. He got out and then walked over and opened my door for me .
He grabbed my hand.
We walked into the school and Amira looked at me pissed.
Silas - alright Evie, I'll see you in a bit.
Evie - okay
He walked over to his other friends Sebastian and Elijah. I met them a couple weeks ago and they really nice.
Amira walked over to me.
Amira - so are you with him?
Evie - why is it your concern if we're together or not. If he doesn't wanna be associated with you anymore , that's your fault. Please don't try to fight me over Silas

I sat at lunch and Amira's friends walked over
Evie - please don't come over here on behalf of Amira.
Sumner - we aren't. We're not friends with her anymore
Evie - yeah right.
Silas walked over with Sebastian and Elijah and sat down. Elijah sat next to Sumner and Sebastian put his arm around Allison.
Silas - what's wrong with you baby?
Evie - nothing
Allison - she's thinks we're over there as a manipulation for Amira
Sebastian- y'all was friends with that bitch so I see why.
Allison - all she ever wanted to talk about was Evie and Silas.
Evie - so when y'all get together.
Silas - you don't be paying attention. They been together.
Sumner - the question is when are y'all? Don't think we are gonna act like you didn't just call her baby.
Silas - we gotta see
Elijah - it's obvious y'all like each other
Evie - my recovery is more important so that's why we were not together.
Elijah - how has that been?
Evie - I'm only a month sober and I feel fine.
Sebastian- that's good.

By the end of the day, Sumner, Evie, and Alison were like best friends, I'm glad she made some other friends than me even if they are my friends girlfriends.
I pulled up to my house and saw a black car sitting in the drive way.
The car door opened and my mom stepped out the car.
Evie - Who's that?
Silas - my mom.
I don't understand what she's doing here.
I got out the car and so did Evie.
Sophia - Silas.
I looked at her.
She walked over and hugged me.
Silas - why are you here?
Sophia - I'm better now. It's took years but I'm finally in my right mind to be there for you and your sister
Silas - we're fine.
Sophia and who are you?
She looked at Evie.
