So it's been two months since Khalil got here and honestly I'm pretty sick of him. The nigga is just weird.  I'll be chilling with Evie and here he go with bullshit . I tried being nice to him but he wanna be antisocial and shit and up under Evie.

Evie don't even notice. They're out   right now . I ain't had a moment alone with Evie since this nigga got here and Evie is always home now so I only see her at school and on Saturday but even then nothing changes.

I called her.

She answered.

Evie - hey baby

Silas - hey , you wanna have lunch

Evie - I'm already at lunch with Kahlil.

Silas - okay

Evie - babe

Silas - Geneviève it's fine

I hung up.

I don't wanna argue with her and be seen as jealous  because I'm not but that shit sucks.

I looked at SyRai.

Sy'Rai - how come you don't like Kahlil? He's pretty Si.

Silas - I'm pretty too.

Sy'Rai - no.

Silas - I don't need to be questioned little girl.

A hour later, my room door opened and Evie walked in.

Evie - Hey baby

Silas - hey

I continued playing my game.

Evie - Silas

Silas - what

Evie - what's wrong with you?

Silas - nothing

Evie - I didn't get a kiss from you like I usually do.

Silas - I don't feel like it

Evie - so you're mad

Silas - man

She stood in front of me.

Silas - Geneviève move

Evie - talk to me

Silas - I'm playing the game right now

Evie - well get off it

She pouted.

I sat my controller down and turned off my game.

Silas - come here

She sat in my lap.

Evie - you're upset with me because I haven't been around. Babe I haven't seen Kahlil in months

Silas - I get it. I'm not mad. I promise.

Evie - you are

Silas - I'm not.

Evie - for what?

Silas - he rubbed in face that y'all slept together. I'm not bothered by it but it's the way he went about it.

Evie - I'm sure he was joking
