I woke up and opened my eyes seeing Evie drop her towel. We've been going to the marriage counselor every week since the first session and it's has helped so much.

I smiled as I looked at her. She gained weight since she had Elias and I love it. She's been going to the gym to lose weight but to me she don't need to. It's just a little extra something for me to love on.

Silas - come here

She walked over to the bed.

Evie - every time I come from the gym , here you go kissing on my stomach

Silas - I don't need you getting rid of your stomach.

Evie - I was getting heavy

Silas - says who?

Evie - me

Silas - I can pick you up just fine baby.

Evie - only time you pick me up is for sex.

Silas - I know.

She grabbed my face and kissed me

Silas - you want breakfast?

Evie - aww baby. Of course

I got up and washed my hands before going into the kitchen.

I went in Elias's room and saw him sitting up playing with his toys.

Eli - ma

He reached for me

Our relationship have improved greatly and he only wants to go to me now.

Evie - good morning baby

I kissed his cheek.

Evie - you hungry?

I went downstairs and saw the girls helping Silas.

Silas - good morning son

Elias smiled at him.

Salem and Solana came over and sat next to me.

Silas - I thought y'all were helping me.

Salem - mommy is here now

Silas - what does that have to do with it? That's okay, I got Sy'Rai.

Silas sat my plate down in front of me and Elias started eating off it.

Silas - boy I have your food made

Silas grabbed Eli and started to cry

Silas - you have food Elias

He reached for me.

Silas - mama's boy

Evie - Si leave him alone

Silas - get off my woman

Elias smiled and laid his chest on my chest. Silas got eye level with Elias and laid his head on my shoulder and Eli tried to head butt him

Silas - you little-  . This my wife

Elias shouting some gibberish at Silas and hugged on me.

Silas - I don't care if that's yo mama. I had her first before all of y'all.

Salem - you get mommy later

Elias stood up.

Silas - you think you big dog huh?  You still in diapers boy.

Elias smiled.

I watched as Silas and played with Elias.  The real reason he wanted a son is so he could play rough with him because he never played with the girls like that when they were his age.

Elias - mama

Silas gave Elias to me

I walked back in the house to see Evie and the kids sleeping. My phone rang. It was an unknown number.

I answered it.

Silas - hello

? - Silas?

I sighed. It was my mom.

Silas - hi mom.

Sophia - hey, I was just calling you to check on you

Silas - me and my wife are fine. My kids are fine.

Sophia - listen I'm really sorry for the what I did to Evie.

Silas -I don't believe you

Sophia - I don't expect you to.

Silas - good

Sophia - I want a place in your lives.

Silas - that's damn near impossible considering you hate my wife.

Sophia - I don't hate her

Silas -seems like it. You tried to kill her  remember. While you sit here and try to seem genuine, I can tell you're not and  it'll go against my better judgement for you to see my family.

Sophia - Silas, I'm your mother

Silas - so? Geneviève is my wife and her and my family's protection come first.

I hung up.  I haven't talked to my mom in two years and now she wants to call me.
