I watched Evie as she slept. I dropped off the girls at school and my grandma has Sol because she wanted to keep for the day. Evie slept alone last night and didn't want to be near me after yesterday which is understandable.

I laid my head on Si's chest listening to his heartbeat. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and laid there catching his breath.
Silas - I love you

Silas pulled the covers back and looked down

Evie - maybe Bali Japan, or the Maldives. We've never really been alone without the kids. That probably sounded selfish as hell. I sound like I don't want to be around my kids.

We've always had a kid present during our entire relationship and while I love Sy'Rai , Salem, and Solana, I think Silas and I deserve a little time for us. We could've had it before we moved but complications came up.

Evie is helping Sy'Rai with her homework. When I brought the kids home, Evie looked guilty like the conversation we had earlier was wrong. I think there nothing wrong with her wanting us to go on vacation without the kids.
Alone time for us is rare because Salem and Sy'Rai do go to school but we still Solana in the house with us , the only reason my grandma had her today is because she asked to keep her. I know that asking for help time to time isn't bad but we don't want to be a burden on anyone else .
