It's been 3 months since Michael's funeral and we're now back in Texas. Evie is 5 months pregnant now and we're having a boy, which she is over the moon about. Evie still misses her dad and sometimes she forgets that he's gone, like when we went to the doctors appointment and found out the gender she instinctively pulled out her phone and almost called him but she remembered and she does it a lot still.
Evie's cousin Jazmine also moved in with us because nobody in their family wanted her to stay with them after her and her mom got into a fight so Evie let her stay with us.
Jazmine is cool when she ain't trying to get in my pants. Evie knows about all of this and since she hasn't acted on anything , Evie hasn't kicked her out.
I think Jazmine is trying to see if I'll crack but I know I won't because I've learned from my past mistakes.
I went downstairs to see Jazmine and Evie in the kitchen. I kissed Evie.

Silas came back in the house and went our room.

Jazmine - I surprise he still wants you all big and pregnant like that
I rolled my eyes.

I sat watching TV while Evie took the girls with her to look for stuff for the baby. I stayed behind the paint his room and set up the crib and now I'm taking a break. Jazmine came downstairs.

Evie - whenever you finish I'm gonna decorate since you did the girls room

She went upstairs.
I followed her.

Silas - I'm kicking her out. Fuck her being your cousin. She gonna be homeless.
Evie - Set her up with Chris
