I woke up to SyRai sleeping next to me and Evie gone. I got up and walked in the bathroom to see her on a FaceTime call with Sumner and Allison.
I walked in and wrapped my arms around her waist.
Alli - hey Si
Silas - hey , what y'all talking about me for?
Evie - ain't nobody talking about you
Silas - you told them about last night didn't you?
Evie - it was sweet. I had to.
Sumner - at least we can go on dates with each other now.
Silas - nope. Y'all are gonna take Evie from me the whole damn date. I'll stick to one on one dates
Allison - did you forget she's pregnant. It won't be a one on one date for long. Y'all are about to have a baby
Silas - I know my baby girl will be right with us on dates.
Allison - does he know the g-
Evie - he wants a girl
Sumner - that's different. I heard of most guys wanting a son first.
Allison - have you told everybody at your meetings?
Evie - all the counselors know and they're happy for us.
Silas - bye y'all
I grabbed the phone and hung up.
Evie - you are such an asshole
Silas - because I want alone time with you before SyRai wakes up. Why is she in our bed anyway?
Evie - she had a nightmare so I told her she could sleep with us
Silas - she's 6 baby.
Evie - a kid. She's allowed to sleep in our room.
Silas - not so frequently though.
Evie - you're mean.
Silas - how is that mean? She needs to sleep in her own bed
Evie - if that's the case the. you can sleep in your own bed
Silas - no I can't
Evie - you're 18 , you don't need me.
Silas - yes I do
She walked out the bathroom. A text popped up on her phone.
Khalil🤣
I can't want to see you
Silas - babe who's Khalil?
Evie - my friend from California.
Silas - you going to California without me?
Evie - no. He's coming here. I haven't talked to him in months.
Silas - where is he staying?
Evie - at my house , so I'll be home for a few days.
Silas - what?
Evie - my dad is fine with it.
Silas - but I'm not.
Evie - Si there is nothing to be jealous about
Silas - I don't care about him staying with you. I'm talking about me being alone at night. I don't wanna sleep by myself
Evie - and now you know how your sister feels
She kissed me and grabbed her phone and FaceTimed the guy.
