I woke up to the door bell ringing. I went to the door to see Elijah, Sebastian, Sumner , and Allison with boxes.

Silas - hey y'all

They told me hey and I let them in.

Sumner - we brought y'all some food. This should last y'all the entire week.

Silas - thank you

Alison and Sumner put the food away.

Sebastian- how's Evie?

Silas - same.

Allison - how are you?

Silas - I'm trying man.

Sumner - you need to take care of yourself before those kids have both parents in the hospital. Have you been sleeping?

Silas - not really. I can't. I wait by the phone mostly for the hospital to call to see if she finally wakes up. I wanna be there when she wakes up.

Sebastian - what about the girls?

Silas - they stay with Scott and Liv mostly. Some days I can't handle them by myself.

I grabbed my keys.

Silas - I'm going back to the hospital.

Alison- we'll drive you

Silas - I got it

Sumner - you need some sleep. Okay. We're driving

She took my keys

I walked in Evie's room and saw Javel and Amira.

Amira - hey Si

Silas - hey

Javel got up so I could sit down.

Sebastian , Elijah, Sumner, and Alison stood on the other side of the room.

I grabbed Evie's hand and kissed it.

Javel - why do you do that

Silas - I used to do it when she was awake. Hopefully she can feel it and it tiggers her to wake up.

Silas - babe .

I saw her head move slightly

Javel - she just moved. Silas call her again. I'm not tripping.

Silas - baby

She squeezed my hand.

Sebastian went and got a doctor.

Soon after a while it got dark and everybody else left , leaving me alone with Evie.

Silas - can you open your eyes for me baby. I just need you to look at me. It's been like 4 months since I've seen your eyes, or heard you say my name. I'd give anything to at least hear your voice.

She didn't move.

Silas - you don't wanna talk to me huh? I get it baby. You don't have to.

I kissed her.

Silas - Salem and Sy'Rai miss you a lot. You missed a lot baby. Your birthday. You turned 21 and I came here, I even brought you a party hat and a gift. It's by the window.

Evie's eyes twitched before opening.

Evie - baby

I ran and called for a doctor.

I walked in her room after the doctor's rushed in to monitor her.

Silas - baby

Evie looked at me confused.

I reached my hand out to her and pulled back , looking scared.

Silas - baby it's me. Silas. M

She shook her head no.

Michael , Olivia, and Scott came with the kids.,

Evie - dad who is that man.

Michael - your fiancé, Silas.

The only people she remembers are her dad, Scott and Liv.

He introduced the girls and Omari to her.

Evie kept looking at me.

Evie - you are so fine. Can y'all leave so I can talk to him.

They left leaving us alone.

Evie - come lay next to me.

I got up and laid with her.

Evie - you're my fiancé?

Silas - yeah

Evie - damn. Really? You look so good , like you should be in movies or something , not with me

I smiled

Silas - I'd take you over that any day. It's us and our little family

Evie - can we get a cat?

Silas - Salem is allergic.

Evie - a dog then.

Silas - fine.

Evie - we had a kid? I never thought I would have a child. Am I a good mom?

Silas - the best there is.

Evie - you're just saying that

Silas - I'm for real. You are. They adore you so much.

Evie - I really like you Silas. Before I ended up here, what were we doing

Silas - like that day?

Evie - no just in general.

Silas - planning the wedding and trying to expand our family.

Evie - we can start the family expansion now. From what I understand we're basically already married. We just an official paper. We should get married as soon as I leave the hospital

Silas - thought you wanted a wedding

Evie - that can come later. What's our last name?

Silas - Montgomery

Evie - Geneviève Aaliyah Montgomery. That sounds so good

I smiled

I yawned

Evie - maybe you should get some sleep Silas

Silas - I plan to

She caressed my face and kissed my forehead.

I drifted off the sleep.

I watched Silas as he slept. He just looks so drained and with two kids I know it was hard on him. I don't remember much from before I woke up , but he seems like a really sweet guy.
