He didn't want to drop her off at the bus stop like they'd planned and it frustrated her.

It was like the more they kept their affair the more careless he got, which was problematic because a lot was at stake.

"It's not safe. Do you see the time?"
She rolled her eyes because she knew he would've used any excuse not to drop her there.

Sure it was a lot earlier than usual that day, but it didn't mean they needed to lower their guard. One person is all it took for their secret to be exposed.

But he didn't seem to care, all he wanted was to take her with him through his private elevator, which had a camera - and granted it was strictly monitored by head security who'd signed an NDA, but that didn't matter to her, they still needed to be strictly safe as anything could happen.

The two had spent every night together since Monday evening and they already had a little routine going.

He would pick her up after work at a bus stop that was a little further from the office, which rarely ever had people around, and then they would go
to his house. In the morning, they woke up together and then he would drop her off at the same bus stop. It wasn't ideal, but it worked.

Jason absolutely hated dropping her off there as if she were a piece of product, but she didn't really leave him with much of a choice.

He understood her fear of getting caught but his private elevator was private for a reason. The cameras were only so nothing sinister would happen without his knowledge.

His father had used the elevator for private matters such as having controversial political leaders at his office. People who could jeopardize the company's stance if the affiliation was made public.

It was the reason his father had gone away with his multiple affairs without anyone knowing. The private elevator footage didn't even get released during the allegations. Only a few people even knew that it was there in the first place.

So Amy truly had nothing to worry about, he would never dream of risking everything like that, knowing of the possible consequences.

He was disappointed he wasn't going to see her that evening because of her family's second Friday dinner commitment, and so he wanted to spend as much time with her as possible. Saturday was way too far and he didn't know if he was going to be able to make it without her.

He'd realized he'd come to depend on her presence. He didn't know how he'd made it without her for so long.

"Ok, maybe you're right. It is a little dark and cold out."
She hated admitting that it was a little bit tricky on that day.

Jason had an important Directors meeting and he needed to be early to go over his presentation. She'd insisted to come with him as opposed to sleeping a few more hours, she wanted to use the time to push her own work.

Jason's hard work definitely influenced her own. Sure he'd been spoon-fed his position, but Amy had never seen anyone work as hard as he did.

During some nights when he couldn't sleep, he would go to his home office and work, something that was shocking because he had just come back from work a few hours before.
