Chapter 32
TYPING ON her electronic device, Lacey glance at the wall clock and yawned afterwards. It’s time for people to woke up and rush to their perspective jobs yet Lacey’s still wide awake.
She haven’t had the 7 hours of sleep. Rarely, she will just took a nap and continue her works. Kumbaga sa isang kompanya, isa siyang empleyado na umabsent at ngayon at sobrang dami ng tatrabahuin, in short, tambak.
Days and weeks flew so fast without omeaniscient on her side; every morning, the aroma of the newly cooked rice never reached her nose; the tasteless, almost sterilize milk of her and the morning’s dish are now lose from her grip.
And she admit it or not, she misses those. She misses the people behind those schemes; she missed the sense of home and family.
She once again sighed before walking and toss herself to her bed. Staring at the ceiling, she smiled. At least, Ayelie together with family finally got free from the grasp of a ruthless man. And if everything was settled, freedom will come next.
But for now, they need to hide first.
She hissed as she saw the paper who is crumpled on the floor—it stated that they are wanted in the pad of devils, her together with Ayelie, Thiago and unfortunately... Tyron.
Ayelie and Thiago are now safe. Now, she thinks of her evil creature and her fellows.
“How would I made you all safe without spilling the truths?” Then she close eyes and raised her hand as if she will hold a morsel of any of the astronomical phenomenon; the moon beyond the thousand stars.
She wants to be a preschooler again while fantasizing the epitome of fantasies myths; fairies together with their colorful sanctuary and the rainbow that is marked by multihued colors.
But now, her problems are like a shoe lace when she was in kindergarten, in the age of five, so hard to entangle, so perilous to tie.
Her eyelids suddenly became heavy as tears keep from streaming down to her cheeks due to the fact that now that she know everything, everyone is relying to her.
And finally, after a consecutive weeks of bad habit of sleeping ang restlessness, she fell asleep... peacefully.
Tyron catch his breath as nightmares visited his wonderland again. It’s nearly Christmas already and he haven’t found any traces of Lacey.
His witch surely planned this; not telling on anyone where her whereabouts might be. Honestly, he either admit it or not, he was worried indeed. After all, Lacey’s one of the left treasures of his first love.
Sighing, he raised his hand to get his phone that’s beside on his bed. He dialed Lacey’s number yet it was only ringing.
Of course, their is a device that can track your location; like for example, a mobile phone tracking— a process for identifying the location of a mobile phone, either moving or stationary.
He tossed his phone out of annoyance and frustration and fixed himself.
There’s no point of me just calling her, I need to find her by myself. He thought as he wear his long sleeve quilted lined Flannel shirt jacket with maplewood hooded shirt.
He opened his door and the fragrance of a freshly cooked rice stunned him from walking; subconsciously, he went to the kitchen, to see the three of his fellows in the table, incomplete.
He sighed mentally and clenched his fist firmly. Snap out of it, you bastard! He yelled to himself before forcing a weak smile to the three.
Ryo cleared his throat. “Where are you going? It’s getting late.” Ryo said before pointing his outfit.
