LACEY END the call after she and someone settled everything. After all, that someone already give up from doing that illegal thing. Killing can’t solve everything, it will just worsens.
And killing her childhood friend will not just harm her, but her friend too and everything will be in chaos.
It’s a long call though and Lacey still needs to enlighten her more about this matter. It was just a half, perhaps a plan.
Now, one out of two already know Lacey’s secret. And she’s looking forward to the other fellas.
She sigh once again before checking herself on her mirror inside her pouch; a black long sleeve chiffon with bow ribbon paired with a black cotton knee-peated skirt.
Every girl has her favorite signature lipstick hue; Lacey with her lips tinted in a Maybelline SuperStay matte lipstick and an ankle strap black heels - an ordinary Lacey trademark that she learned from different fashion websites.
“Perfect,” she said as the camera clicked. Slowly, she lay her 6.8 inches heels on the floor and softly get out from the car.
The occasional clicking sound of her heels was the only thing that could be heard as she walk to the venue’s entrance.
Something’s missing. She thought to herself before she pick her polarized Randolph Thaden sunglasses.
And perfect! She walks confidently through the red carpet and hand the guard her invitation card, not minding the cameras and even photographers that are capturing her beauty.
She isn’t really invited, Tyron just made a good copy of the invitation card. After all, they have a copy of it—Aoi’s invitation.
Her left hand went to her left ear when she finally entrance the venue, underworld bar.
She then pressed the red dot on her earpiece. “Ready?” she asked and Tyron, Ayelie, Thiago and Aoi says on position simultaneously. She even heard a baby crying.
“Is that my niece?” Lacey asked, still roaming her gaze to the venue to find Ara. Ayelie on the other hand rolled her eyes and breastfeed her baby while watching the electronic device playing—the venue in front of her. Tyron knows technologies well. Ayelie thought to herself before answering Lacey.
“Correction, it’s your nephew,” Ayelie emphasized the nephew word before shutting her earpiece because she needs to fix the figure copy of her.
Lacey shrugged her shoulders before putting her hand down. A waiter that serves a wine stood and bow in front of her before giving her a wine.
She just nodded to the waiter then her sight went to the wine. “Sorry not sorry,” she uttered and leave the untouched wine behind.
After roaming her eyes to the venue, she noticed a lady with its red dress and blonde hair pass by her.
She hissed mentally after seeing her rival with her favorite color. See, even the color red, she will like the same I liked. She remarked to her mind before heading to the bathroom.
She can felt someone staring at her and it is making her uncomfortable. She then look at bathroom’s mirror. Lacey held her earpiece and sigh. “Now,” she ordered and heard Aoi said alright.
She sighed once again and took her pouch and was about to go out the bathroom when someone entered and locked the door.
Her eyes widen when she saw him, looking straight in her eyes and leisurely went to her direction. It feels like a painful clog stuck on her throat, having Lacey the difficulties of speaking and swallowing her saliva.
