Surekha pinni took me near varenda where nalugu is going to be held. And she made me to sit on wooden plank.
First Kala atta came and took a hand full of turmeric paste and applied to my both cheeks and hands. And she took a smear oil by help of grass stems and applied three time on my head.
And Surekha pinni did same to me, followed by other three of my relatives.

After applying oil and turmeric paste. The other 5 women did a aarti made of lime water mixed with turmeric to ward of evil.
And they even sang a folk song while doing aarti which was funny.
Later, pinni made me to bath again..
I came out from my bathroom wearing my comfortable Kurti and pant. Drying my hair. I sat on bed and started use my phone.
Keerthi sent me few photos from this morning nalugu.
It's a family photo. Me in middle, Surekha pinni to my right side, Kala atta to my left side. And Suresh babai beside pinni and Jay maavaya beside atta. Back to me is Vijay anna and beside to him were Keerthi to right and Kruthi to left.
I smiled seeing that photo. Thinking that I will soon leaving this home. Made me a little sad.
Suddenly my room door opened showing my nayanamma (father's mother) who was in her late 80's.
"Na bangaru konda, Ela vunavu thali?" saying she hugged me to bone crush hug. (T/N:- my dear kid, how are you?)
"Nenu bagunnanu nayanamma. Nuvu ela vunavu?" I said and kissed her cheek. (T/N:- I'm fine grandma. How are you?)
"Nenu bagunnanu thali. Na manavaralu pelli ani vinagane vachesanu !!" said while wiggling her eye brows mischievously at me. (T/N:- I'm fine. Just came when I heard my grandchild is getting married)
I am in no shook to her this behaviour. But hearing that "my marriage" somewhat made me to shyly bend my head.
And suddenly my stomach growled. I silently face slapped myself.
Hearing my stomach, nayanamma laughed then Kruthi came with my breakfast.
"Akka, mom said me to give you breakfast" Kruthi said me.
"Kruthi thali, give me that plate I will find her" saying that she took that plate from her and started to feed me.
We talked a little and my grandma said me to take rest as it was just 9 o'clock in morning. And left me alone in room.
As she said I tried to sleep.

I'm Sita Yadav. 23 year's-old. Completed my studies in B.tech. When I was 8 year's old I lost my parents in a plane crash. They said it's murder and some said it's because of mechanical problem. But what I know is that they left me alone in this world. But my Suresh Babai and Surekha Pinni took me as there own child. They never made me feel like I wasn't their own child. They have one son. My Vijay Anna. My best supporter. He is the CEO of Yadav's and Co. and other branches in India. As for my best friend I have one, Keerthi my best friend, my cousin and my soon-to-be 'vadina'. She is my Kala atta's daughter. We both went to same school and college. And She is engaged to my Vijay anna. It's all because of me. I caught them red-handed one day. And elders also agreed to their relation.
Let me say about my soon-to-be husband. Veer Raj Reddy. A Business tycoon. A Mafia leader. Yes, I know he is a mafia leader not only him my Vijay anna too. They both are Partners too. But I don't care about that. Because that's what gents in this house said to ladies. And he is my Bava. Yes he is my Rajesh pedda maavaya's Son. When I was small I remember I used to play with bava, yuvraj anna, yash, ishika, rithvik and little jyothi. After my parents death I never went there. You asking me why didn't my Rajesh mama, Ramesh mama, Rakesh mama, Sumithra atta, Sujatha atta and Kamala atta come to meet me? Because they all died in same plane crash along with my parents. Those days were hell for us. Later we tried to move on. But sometimes those things hunt us.
Later I got to know by my ammamma (mother's mom) and nayanamma that I was engaged to my bava when I was 5 years old.
And they want to get us married. That proposal came to me after Veer bava accepted it. Then later I too accepted. So our elders decided to fix dates.
I opened my eyes not able to get any sleep. I started to stare at a family photos near my study table. One with my parents when I was small girl and another with my Babai pinni and Vijay anna.
Then my eyes went on the corner of my cupboard. My bags were packed. Yes, Bava family lives in Vijayawada and I'm living in Hyderabad.
Crying for sometime I don't know when drakness filled my eyes I slept for a while.

"Akka, akka, akkaa ....wake up" I heard kruthi waking me up.
When I slowly opened my eyes I saw she was sitting on me folding her arms around her chest and giving me angry glare with pout.
I poke her on cheeks. Laughing hard which I was controlling till now. She is cute.
"Akka, I'm no funny. I'm trying here to wake you up and you....humpp ....I'm not talking to you now" she again made a pout, this time I controlled myself and made her to get up from me after sitting on bed and made her to sleep on my laps.
"Now say me...why did you wake me up" I said while patting her head slowly.
"Surekha atta said me to wake you up and said me to say you that mehandi people will be coming here within 30 mins" she said me while seeing me with her big big innocent eyes. I kissed her forehead.
I saw wall clock which is say 11:30 AM.
Later my pinni came in and saw us both and said "ayyo this girl, Kruthi I said you wake her and now you are sleeping".
Kruthi was seeing her atta literally glaring at her and said "atta, it's not I tired wake akka from last few minutes, and now she woke up. I'm tired, so I can sleep till afternoon too!"
"Yah yah rajkumari can sleep still evening too, now get up your sita akka should get ready for mehandi, those people are on the way" said while playfully went to beat her bum. But Kruthi moved fast. Showing her tongue out.."atta you missed it" and she started to jump on my bed.
I laughed and got glare from my pinni.
"What are you laughing, go and get ready they are on the way" said my sweet pinni.
"Aye aye captain " saying I took my towel and went.
Pinni and kruthi drama never had end. They always pull each other legs.
