Part II, Ch-17: A New Challenger Appears

It was another regular day at the high school as Killian Hanma was back inside of the art room reading some sort of manga that was given to him by one of his fellow classmates. It was an old manga named Baoh that came out around the 1980s, and it seemed to kept Killian interested the more he kept on reading.

Killian: 'Not bad. I don't really read manga, but this might change my mind.'

Suddenly, the door opened up as it was none other than Nagatoro herself popping up.

Nagatoro: Senpai! What's up? Look what I got!

She holds up her hand to reveal some new shoes she got.

Nagatoro: I bought some new loafers! I like sneakers for their comfort, but a high school girl's gotta be able to wear some loafers, you get me?

Killian: Hm.

She walked inside and put on the new loafers on her feet to show them off to Killian.

Nagatoro: Ta-da! Whaddya think, Senpai? Are they not electrifying?

Killian: They look pretty neat.

Nagatoro: That's it? That was a pretty lame reaction, y'know.

She noticed that he was holding a manga in his hand as she got closer to it and sees that it was some old manga of Baoh.

Nagatoro: Hey, isn't that Baoh? I never took you as someone who reads Shonen Jump manga, Senpai? Though, I kind of feel like you do.

Killian: I don't read manga to be honest. That was given to me by a classmate in my math class. I'll admit, I'm interested.

Nagatoro: Really? Same. Well, I don't normally read manga much. But i am caught up on this one manga called Slave of Love. It's about this protagonist girl named Ai-chan that makes the council president do whatever she wants. I feel like I can relate to her in a weird way.

Killian: Sounds... like it's not for me.

Nagatoro: Oh~? Then how about I hit you with some Slave of Love play, so you might have some second thoughts about it.

Killian: What do you mean? If you're thinking of something crazy, I ain't doing it.

Nagatoro pulls out her phone and searched for a specific volume of Slave of Love to show Killian. It was the latest volume of the story as the paneled showed the council president licking the girl's shoe that has a drop of liquid on it.

Nagatoro: Shoe-licking play~! Not bad for a shoujo manga!

Killian: What? What kind of freak shit do you be reading?

Nagatoro grabs a nearby water bottle and started to playfully tilt it over her new loafers with a smug look on her face.

Nagatoro: Whoopsies! I almost got it on my loafers.

Killian: You really thinking about doing this?

Killian tried to grab the bottle out of her hand, but he grabbed it to tightly that the water started to squirt out, and a little drop of water touched the top of Nagatoro's loafer. She started to turn slightly red as Killian noticed the water on her loafer. He kneeled down and grabbed Nagatoro's ankle and lifts it up, causing her to be surprised as she turns even more red.

Nagatoro: S-Senpai...!

Killian started to rub the water off with his shirt until it was spotless.

Killian: There we go. Can't be damaging some new shoes, right?

Nagatoro: I-- uh... Thanks, Senpai.
