Chloe, Pete, Clark and I all walked to the bus stop to catch our ride to school. The four of us were talking about Clark and I being home alone. Though we weren't alone because we had each other.

"What are you going to do now that you're officially home alone?" Pete asked

"Well I was thinking of having a few people over." Clark answered and I rolled my eyes, as well as shook my head

"Do my ears my decide me or is clark Kent actually suggesting a party?" Chloe teased

"A small gathering. You guys, a few other people, maybe Lana."

"We're not having a party. A small gathering always turned into a big one. Party spreads like wildfire and the next thing you know someone's gonna be puking into Grandma Kents vase. Beside with Lana comes Whitney." the bus arrived and I got on

"Eight o'clock and remember the key word is small." Clark told them

------------

So much for small party, like I predicted word spread and now our house was full of people and neither things were getting broken or puked in. No respect for peoples rooms, clearly because I had to throw out two horny teenagers from violating my bed.

"I am going to throttle my brother!" I shout

"Woah, easy now. Let's not resort to murder." I spun on my heal and bumped into a solid force nearly falling back. I was steady by two strong hands. "Easy there." Whitney muttered

"Why are you here?" I ask

"Hello to you too." he laughed and let go "What's got you in such a mood?" he questioned

"This." I gestured around to my packed house "Clark breathed the word party and now I'm defending my room for horny teenagers. I told him this would happen, he ignored me.?"

"Mia, Lighten up it's a party, we're meant to have fun, let loose."

"It's my house and my sanctuary. These morons want to get a hangover they can do it somewhere and with someone else. I don't even know half of these people, nor do I want to. Now I'm gonna call the..."

"Mia." he cut me off holding my arms "You spend most of your time with a nose in a book and glaring at the outside world. What harm is it going to do you, that for a small time to have fun." he suggested

"Reading is fun, for me. What I do is fun. This isn't fun, this is anxiety and violation in a bottle thrown into a storm. I want my home back." I insisted

"And you will. Look 10 minutes just come into the real world for 10 minutes and then i will use my powers of persuasion and get them to move on." I didn't move "10 minutes"

"And you'll help me kick them out?" I ask

"I promise." he held out his hand and i sighed taking it. he lead me downstairs and into the middle of the living room. We started dancing and I admit, I was awkward. There was a difference between dancing with headphones on with a couple of people around, and in a room full of people.

"I thought you'd be more of a dancer."

"Like I said anxiety and violation. How I dance in the safety of my own home with only my parents and brother around is completely different." he twirl me around and dipped me down. making me squeal slightly but ultimately laugh.

"Finally she smiles." he brought me back up

"Happy now?" I sigh with a small smile

"Oh ecstatic." I heard a smash and I stop dancing and head over. Grandma Kents Vase, shattered. I shake my head and storm outside. I was gonna hurt someone if I wasn't careful. The barn was the only place not infested my annoying people. Sitting down on the stairs to the loft and took deep breaths. Tempers were normal things for growing people, all hormones and feeling swirling around. I always had struggles with mine. Growing up Clark and I had tantrums but with mine things got broke almost people and it out did Clarks that much that he would have to calm down first, so that he could calm me down.

"You okay?" Whitney asked coming to join me. He removed his jacket and draped it over my shoulders.

"No." I admitted as tears ushered from my eyes and I wiped them away furiously.

"Why does letting people in scare you so much?" he asked

"Because then they can't hurt me." I answered "When Clark and I were six, we got this project about family tree's. We went home and told our parents and they shared this look. Thats the day we found out we were adopted. In a way it made me love them more, but the reverse side I felt abandoned, rejected, like I didn't matter. So I close myself off, how can anyone else hurt you if they can't get close. Books helped fill a void and being alone felt sane. Parties, socialising its overwhelming because I'm not used to it and I don't want it. School is different, you go about your day. I will say hello be nice occasionally to not be completely robotic but thats where the comfort zone ends. The more people try to force change on me the more I will fight back." he nodded slowly and the stood up

"Well, come on then."

"What?"

"I promised I would help you get people out of here. So lets get people out of here." I took his hand just as i heard banging, like from fireworks. I shared a confused look with Whitney and then we ran outside. Backing to a stop it was fireworks and people came out to see them.

"What the..." I muttered and turned look around for Clark, he came out of the house with Chloe, Pete. I pulled Whitney over just as Lex popped up.

"Call it a party gift. I hope you like it." he stated

"Was this you?" I question.

"Yeah." he grinned.

"It's great, it's just..."

"Don't worry about the police it's covered. This kind of party can make or break a reputation. I wanted to make sure your was a hit." I put a hand to my head and looked all around. "I hear you're taking a tour of my plant."

"It's a class field trip." Chloe stated

"What'd you do wrong?" Lex attempted to make a joke

"It's that bad, huh?" Lex was joined by a woman who was fawning all over him

"Someone over flowed the bathroom." That had me at it. I saw red and reputation be screwed

"I'm officially.,.." Clark began but didn't finish because the object of my full on tantrum rage fit was Lex Luthor and I punched him "Mia!" Lex held his nose

"Oh that feels so much better" I breathe and I looked up to my shocked friends and brother "What?" I ask innocently

"Lana?" Whitney questioned and I turned to see that she stood out on the porch watching the fireworks. He let go of my hand and went to talk to her. I turned to lex

"Get lost and leave my family alone." I walked past Whitney and Lana to sit on the counter.

"What the hell, Mia." Clark scolded "You punched Lex, probably broke his nose."

"Well he should stop butting his nose in where it doesn't belong then." he looked like I had grown a second head "Don't look like its a surprise, I told you this was a bad idea. But you had to just..."

"Just because you'll be forever alone, and a loser, doesn't mean you have to drag me down with you." my jaw slackened and tears welled up once more "Mia I'm...." I ran out of the house and into the barn and I was running at normal speed up to the loft when it began to rattle and sake. It was that violent that i was thrown backwards down the stairs with a scream and hit my head.

"Mia!" Whitney yelled and my head lagged to the side.
