"We have a big class today on Hero Informatics." Shit. You had barley arrived and he was going to hand you a pop quiz about hero laws. You weren't prepared, you never studied; sure, you would most likely ace the test with your knowledge, but test anxiety is thing that usually gets in your way of an A+. "You need codenames. It's about time you pick your hero identities."

"Oh, thank god." Yaoyorozu said relieved, apparently she thought the same as you. You could hear the rest of the class's heavy sighs of relief, a weight lifted off of their chests and instead the excitement of something much easier and more fun.

"This is related to the Pro-Hero draft picks that I mentioned a little while ago. Normally, students don't have to worry about the draft yet. Not until their second or third year actually, but your class is different. In fact, by extending offers to first-years like you, pros are essentially investing in your potential. Any offers can be rescinded if their interest in you dies down before graduation, though." Aizawa turned to the board, clicking a button on a remote to pull up polls. "Now. Here are the totals for those of you who got offers."

Your eyes immediately scanned the list, as if you were expecting your name to be on there somehow—which it wasn't. By some miracle, you were hoping to have gotten some offers.

You saw Todoroki was at the top of the list with the most offers, Bakugo following. Todoroki looked more upset than ecstatic by the fact that so many people want him. You decided to ask, "What's wrong?"

"These offers are probably because of my father." He deadpanned, clearly agitated.

"We're wanted!" Uraraka exclaimed, shaking Iida by the shoulders excitedly. You could feel her buzz coming all the way from the other side of the room.

"It's great that you got some, Yaoyorozu." You commented, smiling at your friend. "I'm excited for you."

"Thanks! I'm excited myself, I've always wanted work with heroes. It's like a dream come true." She cheered, even if it was only in the hundreds unlike everyone else, she was still happy with what she had.

"Despite the results, you'll all be interning with pros. Got it? Even those of you who didn't get any offers." Aizawa added, bringing a few more smiles to your classmates faces. "Now, back to hero names. They will most likely be temporary, but take them seriously or..."

"...you'll have hell to pay later!" The door to the classroom had burst opened, Midnight popped in, interrupting Aizawa's sentence. "What you pick today could be your code name for life. You better be careful, or you'll be stuck with something utterly indecent."
