"Someone's famous!" Kirishima shouted as you walked out of your room into the lobby. Most of your classmates were sat on the couches that surrounded the television. They indulged in the news channel that featured yesterday's news of a 'bank robbery gone wrong'. The red head didn't even bother to look back once more as he handed you the news paper, "Look, you're even in the paper."

You took the paper from his hands, reading it for yourself: 'Student saves hostages from fire under the watch of Flame Hero: Endeavor.' You looked up to the screen, seeing the clip of you playing. Your classmates watched in awe, until the camera panned to Endeavor. Mina quickly took the remote off the table and switched the channel to something more entertaining.

"Hey! I was watching that." Bakugo shouted, reaching over Mina for the remote, but she held it in the hand furthest from him.

"Do you feel different? You better not forget us when you're a big shot, (Y/N)." Kaminari stated, laughing at his own joke.

"It was barely five seconds. I doubt it really meant anything. Plus, I don't care for the fame." You stated, followed by a barkey cough to fill the room. You looked down at the yen in your hand, which you intended to use on the vending machine for a soda.

"Are you kidding? How could you not! I'd do anything to be famous for five seconds." Kaminari stated, his head falling to hit the back of the couch.

"Dude, you were. Remember the Sports Festival?" Kirishima tried to remind him, pushing Kaminari's body in the process because of how close he was.

"That doesn't count!"

You rolled your eyes as you walked away toward the vending machine in the opposite hallway to yours. You could hear the faint bickering between Kaminari and Kirishima, until Bakugo joined in. Then, it was just him yelling at the two that it's not that big of a deal.

You inserted the bill, pressing the buttons accordingly to the beverage of your choice. As you watched the can slowly come further into the open your mouth watered. Unfortunately for you, your satisfaction was short lived; the can got stuck. You sighed, curses slipping through your lips as you rattled the box.

"I didn't know you were doing the work study with my dad." You jumped away from the vending machine because of the sudden presence that spooked you. You were relieved when you saw Todoroki standing just a few feet away from you.

"Todoroki—where did you come from?" There was no sign of him before you attempted the vending machine. You exhaled, holding a hand over your heart. "You scared me."

"Sorry," He paused, pointing at the door behind him. "I was in Iida's room. We were just talking about you, actually."

"Oh, really? What about me?" You asked, quirking a brow. Curiosity filled the void of sadness, you instantly forgot about the stuck soda. A hand was placed on your hip as you spoke to the boy. Todoroki felt a sudden rush of nerves course through him. He was afraid of what you would think if he said that, but now he had to explain himself to you.

"You were on the news." Todoroki said, quickly finding a way to lie his way out if this situation. He was really talking to Iida about the other night when you guys kissed. He was hoping he could get advice on how to approach the situation, but all he got was a lecture about how now wasn't the time for 'love to blossom' (Iida's words).

"It's not that big of a deal. It was only for a few seconds." You kicked the ground bashfully. Your hands now held each other behind your back, hoping to hide your sweaty palms. The tickle in your throat arose from the lack of liquid pouring to soothe it. You coughed once more, covering it with your arm.

"Are you going to be okay?" Todoroki looked concerned, taking a step forward toward your figure.

"Yeah, yeah. They just said I'll have a small cough for a few days because of the smoke I inhaled, but I should be better soon." You were afraid the conversation would run cold, you thought fast about what else you could add. You didn't want to stop talking to Todoroki, but what other reason would you be talking to him for other than casual business? You scratched the back of your hand at the itchy burn from weeks ago. "I still have your jacket—from the other night. Did you want it back?"

"Oh," Todoroki said. He never realized talking to you was so hard if he wanted to keep your interest. He looked at the ground, then back at you, "No, you can keep it."

Awkward silence filled the hallway, all that could be heard was the chatter from the television down the way. You both looked longingly at each other, like you needed to say something but you couldn't—something was holding you back. Fear. You were both afraid to hurt each other.

"Do you want to hang out sometime?" Todoroki asked out of the blue. He went on a whim when he saw how you were dressed; you weren't busy. Instantly, he changed his wording, "Like today?"

Your eyes lit up with buzz. You smiled before answering his question. You couldn't describe the feeling of having something to look forward to when compared to your average day. "Sure. Just let me go back to my room and get ready."

After he nodded, you started walking back to your dorm. The giddiness was evident in the skip in your step, which didn't go unnoticed by your friends in the lobby. You unlocked your room, slipping inside before they could say anything to you.

Bakugo scoffed before sipping from the drink in his hand, "What's her deal?"
