Unfortunately, your absence was not only a day, but several. You were unable to return to school for the day, missing out on training with All Might and the rest of Class A. You were given extra clothes by Yaoyorozu when your classmates came for a visit.
You waited at the busy front of the hospital for a ride back to U.A, unsure of who the driver was. You carried a small gym bag with you, which held your old clothes and other necessities. You checked your wrist-watch, debating if you should just walk or continue to wait for the unknown ride.
A small black limo pulled up to the curb, the front window rolling down to reveal an older man as the driver. "Miss (L/N), I'm assuming?"
"That would be me." You gave him a smile to be polite, entering the back of the vehicle. Your pleasantry faded when you stepped into the car, being met with the blue eyes of your least favorite person. "Sorry, must've got in the wrong car."
"No, you're in the right place." Endeavor spoke, his voice boomed, sending chills down your spine. "I offered to give you a ride back to the high school so it wouldn't cause any disturbance to the staff."
"Okay..." You eyed him suspiciously, shutting the door behind you. The driver sped off, seemingly going faster that he should have been. Endeavor wasn't sporting his usual hero outfit, instead he wore a casual turtle neck and black pants. You crossed your arms, feeling slightly uncomfortable because of the atmosphere. "Endeav—"
"Enji." He interrupted, his usual scowl covered his facial features. "When we're not on the job, just call me Enji."
"Endeavor." He grunted, displeased with your negligence. You continued on without acknowledgment of his annoyance, "What do you really want?"
"To congratulate you. You put up a gnarly fight, is what I heard from Shoto—and by the looks of it too." He gestured to the bandages that covered your arms and hands. He sighed, almost too ashamed to say the next sentence, "You proved me wrong."
"What exactly did I prove you wrong about?" You asked, wanting to rub it in before the car ride was over.
"Your quirk. It's a good one, regardless of its downfalls, you have potential. Which is why I would like to recruit you to work at my agency once you graduate." Endeavor handed you papers from his pocket, folded neatly into a square. "I know it may seem a long way ahead, but read over it. Maybe you'll have a verdict by the end of your days at U.A."
"Thanks." You took the pages, shoving them into your bag. You didn't want to read them at this moment, you didn't want to show your interest. "What happens if I don't join?"
