The day you were discharged from the hospital, was the same day you missed out on practicing your "ultimate moves", according to Yaoyorozu. At the moment, the girls of Class A were in the lobby of the dorms. Since it was evening, everyone was in their comfy clothes. You sat between Ashido and Jiro, listening to everyone debrief the day.
Ashido groaned, tilting her head back in frustration, "They're working us to the bone everyday!"
"That's why they call it accelerated training." You said, observing the poor girl next to you as she stretched her tense limbs.
"You have no room to talk—you got to skip!" The pink toned girl playfully pushed you. You let out a chuckle, grateful about your escape.
You missed being at school. You hated always being prevented in one form or another from going to school with your friends. As you sat there on the comfortable couch, you wanted to cherish this moment forever. The crave to stop time and talk about anything and everything with these girls was the only thing you needed at that point.
Your eyes bored into the blank wall ahead of you. You blocked out every bit of the conversation just to focus on the white paint. You weren't bored of the girls, just trying to process everything that happened in the past month. You hadn't had a moment alone except for when you sleep. Once you arrived at U.A. around dinner time, Yaoyorozu and Jiro had been keeping you occupied. Your luggage from the camping spree still sat on your bed untouched. You weren't lazy—just absorbed in your mental.
Thousands of questions rushed through your head, all of them having zero to numerous answers. Were you falling behind in school? Was Mirko and Hawks mad at you? When was the last time you rewrapped your bandages? Did you lock your dorm room to keep Mineta from infiltrating your space? How was Todoroki after you nearly forced him out of your presence?
"(Y/N)?" Yaoyorozu asked, she could tell something was off about you. Your quietness within the group setting felt unnatural. She got yours and everybody else's attention, and only once your eyes met hers she continued, "You seem wiped out. Did you want to go back to your room and sleep? I know it's getting late and you've been in those uncomfortable hospital beds."
"No, no. I'm not tired at all." You stated, trying to conjure a defense for your drowsiness beside it being the clear truth: the sleepless nights in those damn hospital beds. Your lips were upturned as you spoke, trying to show your liveliness, "It's just, lately, my minds been all over the place."
"It's love." Ashido immediately said, as if she had been waiting for this moment since you stepped in the door. You tried denying the accusation, but she only fed into. everyone else's delusions. "Is it Todoroki? You're always hanging out with him!"
