"Yakisoba? Bleh—more like yucky-soba. No way that's your favorite food." You said. As you and Todoroki left the school grounds, he suggested you play a game...that game being 20 questions. Currently, you were on question seven.

"It is my favorite food. You'll learn to like it one day." Todoroki sassed. You two were walking down a giant hill, coming up to a stop light. Since it was later at night on a weekend, nothing was really opened late to people of your age. There was no destination in sight, only a spontaneous adventure to keep you going. "My turn. Do you have siblings?"

"Nope. I'm an only child." You nervously glanced at Todoroki. His eyes averting from yours, looking at the sidewalk ahead of him, you quickly did the same. You licked your dry lips before speaking, "What about you? I know you have siblings, but how many? What are they like?"

"I have an older brother and sister. Natsuo and Fuyumi." You noticed the hesitation in Todoroki's demeanor before continuing. "Natsuo goes to college, but he lives at home. My sister is an elementary school teacher. She also lives at home to keep watch over the house while my dad is out. Fuyumi kinda takes care of all of us."

"She sounds sweet." You admitted with a small smile. You were stopped at the crosswalk, watching as the cars flew by, soon to be stopped by the red light. The white sign lit up, signaling for you to walk to the other side.

"She'd like you." Todoroki said moments later. You both observed lights and neon signs being shut off by business owners, causing the lighting to become more dim. "It's your turn."

"Hm, do you like the beach?" You asked, hands behind your back with your head held up high. Both your footfalls could be heard as you traveled deeper into the lower region of the city.

"I do. I think it's calming." Todoroki looked across the street to see a mom and her child. They were going in the same direction as you, but at a faster pace. He watched them until they disappeared around the corner. He wondered what life was like for the both of them.

"Let's go right now." You suggested, pointing ahead. You could smell the ocean breeze coming from the distance. Your hair blew in the cool breeze with the moonlight beating down on your smooth complexion. "It's just a few blocks ahead."

"Yeah, okay." Todoroki could feel the excitement you emitted when he agreed. He couldn't help but share the feeling, especially because it made you happy.

You picked up the pace, dragging Todoroki behind you in order not to lose him. Once the ocean was finally in your line of vision, you slowed down, inhaling the air surrounding you. Todoroki did the same, feeling at ease.

Without given notice to Todoroki, you hopped the old, rickety wooden fence. You urged him to follow, to which he did. You both started to untie your shoes to make the walk easier. You looked at Todoroki who was still carefully untying his laces, meanwhile, you already slipped your sneakers off, holding them by the heel with your fingers.

"Your turn, question nine? I think." You voiced, listening to the seagulls lay to rest in the cliffs near by. Todoroki looked at your figure, standing to the extent of his full height, holding his shoes in the same way you were. He took a moment to admire you. The way your eyes glistened at the sight of the moon hanging over the breath-taking sea. He didn't want to take his eyes off of you.

"What are you most afraid of?" Todoroki finally asked as you both started the trek to the salty water.

The sound of the waves reminded you of the wave machine you used when you were a kid to help you sleep. To you, the beach was a place of nostalgia, it was no wonder why you loved it so much. The soles of your feet hitting the soft sand with each footfall; it felt like you were walking on the clouds.

To your surprise not many people were there—in fact you didn't see anyone. Passerby's watched as you and the teen trudged through the flour-like substance. They smiled at your aloofness to the rest of the world.

You made it to the waterfront, feeling the water hit your ankles made a chill run down your back. It was cold—but you were numb to it due to the feeling of pure bliss.

You turned to Todoroki, answering his question with a gentle smile, "I think I'm most afraid of not achieving my dreams."

"And what's that?" You found it cute how his head tilted slightly to the side when he asked you. His curious expression beckoned you to further go on.

"Well, to graduate, then, save as many lives as I can." A strong breeze blew past you as you spoke, your hair entangled with the wind. The gust danced around your figures, pushing you closer to one another.

Todoroki could taste the salt on his tongue as he opened his mouth to speak, "You're a good person, (Y/N). Most heroes are just in it for the money and fame, but you have passion. I can tell you'll go far."

You bashfully giggled at his words, hovering your hand over your mouth as you did so. You playfully kicked at the water as the waves gushed in and out, "My question: what do you look forward to the most after high school?"

"Being able to do my own thing." Todoroki looked out at the pale moon as if searching for lost answers in its craters. His gaze shifted to you, "What about you?"

"Having my own place." You spoke. "I want a home and pets that I can go to after a long day. It's kinda dumb when there's other things."

"It's not dumb at all. I think it's reasonable." Todoroki said, you looked away as he gazed at you.

Boldness overtook his demeanor, he gently intertwined his fingers into your own. The warmth of his hand made you forget about the ticklish feeling of the wafting sea breeze. The tenderness in his smile made you melt inside—it was infectious.

You blithely kicked water at Todoroki, getting tiny droplets of sea water on his clothing. He quickly returned the favor by bending down and scooping water in your direction. You started to run along the shoreline, punting water in the air as you did so. The boy followed close behind you, trying to catch up.

You could hear the wind roaring in your ears, telling you to slow down, yet you ignored it. You kept running, far from where you originally started. You ran up into the sand, which deferred your steps, allowing Todoroki to come within reach of you.

You turned around as he tackled you in the sand. His arms held himself up over your figure, careful as not to come in contact with you. You laughed at the funny position, Todoroki chuckling with you. You tossed your head side-to-side; your hair now combined with the mineral particles, but you didn't care. You were having fun being with him.

Both of you paused, staring deeply into one another's eyes. You gained the courage from the whispers of the wind, breathily, you asked, "Can I kiss you?"

"Isn't it my turn to ask a question?" Todoroki asked, surprisingly sarcastic. You rolled your eyes. This time he sincerely answered, "Yes, you can."

You grabbed the collar of his shirt, slowly pulling his lips closer to yours—closing the gap. Your eyes instantly closed, feeling the moment. The chapped lips you both shared didn't matter, as long as you had each other, there were no concerns.
