"No need to sit up here with me. I know where I'm going." You said. Your fingers tapping on the steering wheel of the truck. The ring on your finger making a clink noise each time your middle finger hit against the steel. Dabi scoffed in annoyance, playing with the blue fire, he tossed it in between each hand. You could feel the heat emitting from his palms, only making you feel more dizzy than before. The blood loss from your arm didn't help with the wooziness that affected your body, especially since it hadn't been properly treated. Only a piece of cloth was wrapped around your forearm. Sweat dripped down the side of your face as the truck moved along the freeway.
The League of Villains made you drive the moving truck while they sat comfortably in the back (though you swerved and braked as much as possible to hopefully make them regret their decision). Toga and Shigaraki fell asleep as far as you knew, feeling sick from the motion of the vehicle. You couldn't blame them, it was a late night—around ten to be exact. Meanwhile, Spinner and Twice were playing a card game, a grumble coming from them every time you would speed up, causing their cards to slide against the floor.
"Jeez, could you ease on the speeding." Dabi complained, looking at you as if he was expecting you to make eye contact. Your eyes remained on the white lines of the road. You turned on your right blinker, looking into your side mirror before quickly switching lanes. He muttered under his breath, pressing a hand to his stomach, "Making me sick."
"Do you want to drive?" You asked, emphasizing the "you" because you knew he couldn't drive. No one ever taught him. Otherwise you, a sixteen year old, wouldn't be in charge of their lives in the moving vehicle. Not to mention, you hadn't even obtained your license yet—let alone your permit. You were pretty good for a self-taught driver. When your question was met with silence you let out a satisfied huff, "That's what I thought."
Dabi looked out the window, his elbow resting against the windowsill. His other hand in his lap; The electric blue flames shrunk just enough to fit on his fingertips. He juggled them in between his meaty fingers, careful of letting the fire crackle for too long. His flames were almost the same blue that surrounded his pupil. His eyes grew brighter somehow in the moonlight that swallowed the Northern hemisphere; they looked like they were glowing.
The sweet music of the radio filled your ears as it quietly played in the background of everything else. The melody almost lulled you to sleep, making you feel a little reckless in your driving state. Very few cars were on the road, which surprised you since it was a freeway.
You started to grow disgusted with the beads of sweat dripping on only the one side of your face. You glanced to your left at Dabi. He was still playing with that damn fire.
You leaned forward to the controls. Using your index to put the A/C on blast. The wind instantly blew out his flames, causing him to give you a dirty look while you stifled a laugh. Dabi reached his hand out to the control center, instantly turning off the cool air flow.
