"Did you sleep, Midoriya?" Todoroki asked, sitting on the hospital bed in a criss-cross position. Iida was on the other side of the room, laying on the bed opposite of Todoroki's.

"No, not really." Midoriya admitted, bandages and bruises covered his body entirely. All three boys had blue hospital gown attire.

"I figured." Todoroki blankly stated. Deafening silence filled the white room, which lead the boys to think to themselves. Todoroki looked to the empty bed next to Iida, which reminded him of the fourth person in the fight. He wondered where you were, concluding you were in a different room due to your gender.

As if Iida read his mind, he asked, "Where's (Y/N)?"

"While you were both asleep they said they put her in the room next to us. I guess the Nomu did some serious damage." Midoriya said, his voice cracking as he spoke.

"Then we should go." Todoroki spoke—almost sounding like a demand coming from his mouth. He jumped up from the bed, and started to walk toward the exit; Midoriya and Iida following suite.

Todoroki carefully opened the door of your room, peeking his head in to see if you were in there—which you were. You lifted your head from the book you were reading to keep yourself from going insane in the plain hospital room. You were pleasantly surprised by the boys' visit, sitting up straighter your excitement to see them was clear.

"Hey, guys." A sigh of relief escaped from each of them, almost like they half expected to see you dead. You closed the book as they entered further into the room. Iida pulled up a chair, placing his seat right next to the head of your bed. Meanwhile, Midoriya sat on the foot of the bed and Todoroki sat on the opposite side of Iida, except he sat on the bed. His small smile faltered when he noticed the bandages that covered your arms.

"How're you feeling?" Midoriya asked, hoping nothing fatal was caused.

"I'm feeling fine after being put on medication. But uh—" You lifted up the side of your shirt, just enough to reveal the horrifying laceration left by the Nomu. "The doctors said if it had been any deeper it would've punctured my lungs, thank god it wasn't."

"Woah." Was all Midoriya could muster. It was a gnarly deep and long gash, the darkest shade of purple covered your skin around it; loops of thread joined the edges of the wound on your skin, hoping to heal it.

Iida gasped, covering his eyes, "Modesty, please!"

"I didn't realize—" Todoroki's voice faltered, he couldn't help but stare at the mark, feeling helpless knowing he could've done more to save you. He frowned, looking down at his cut up hands, regret and hatred ran through his veins. "I didn't realize it was that bad."
