"Wow...I knew her family had cash, but I didn't know she was rich!" Kaminari exclaimed. All six of you stood at the gate on the deserted street, catching a glimpse of the intimidating driveway that was aligned with trees.
You rung the doorbell; it resembled a Ring Doorbell. A camera was clear, as well as an intercom to communicate.
"I've been waiting for you, everyone!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed through the microphone. The loud boom of gates opening sounded the area. "Please, come in."
After entering the mansion, Yaoyorozu led you all (Those being Kaminari, Ojiro, Jiro, Ashido, and Sero) to "the ballroom". A long dark oak table was at the center of the large room. The chandelier hung low, casting a warm yellow light throughout the room. The beautiful marble fireplace sat behind you; the fireplace and everything in the room was intimidating. You couldn't have felt anymore out of place than in that moment.
Yaoyorozu rolled in a cart of delicacies; you wondered if that's why she asked what tea you preferred earlier in class on Friday. She began passing out tarts and tea cups, pouring everyone their own cup of preferred tea.
"Thank you, Momo." You looked up at her, smiling, after she poured your liquid. She gave you a nod, moving onto Jiro, who sat beside you; Sero was across the table from you.
You took out your textbook from your backpack, setting out highlighters, pens, pencils, (especially) erasers.
You felt a tap on your shoulder, turning your head to the right of you. Jiro lightly smiled, scratching the back of her head embarrassed, "Can I borrow a highlighter? I didn't bring any—I kind of forgot."
"Of course you can." You returned the smile, handing her a light blue and a few other colors for color-coding; she gladly accepted. Jiro caught a glimpse of your wrapped arms—she knew about the Hero Killer attack—but was curious of the details that surrounded the story.
"This is a little random, but—" She looked at you nervously, your eyes were telling her to press on with her sentence. The room was silent, aside from the clinking of tea cup to table, all ears were peaked at your conversation. "What exactly happened with the Hero Killer? It's just your injuries don't make sense."
"Yeah, just what exactly happened with that. We weren't given that much information." Sero added.
"Well, uh," You stopped, pondering what to say. Jiro was suspicious—too suspicious about the situation. Everyone was at the edge of their seats, awaiting your reply, even Yaoyorozu was intrigued. You sighed, "As Endeavor was fighting, I kept getting in the way of things. You know? Trying to be useful, but only turning out to be useless."
