A few days after returning from the battle with Chisaki everything went back to normal. Though the school decided to cease all work studies until further notice for the sake of the students mental health and other casualties.
"Today's assignment," Cementos started, standing atop of a mound. Your class was in Gym Gamma, all dressed out in your hero costumes. Your teacher continued, "keep working on your ultimate moves The previous benchmark was to create two ultimate moves. Those who haven't done so will keep trying, while those who have will work on improving their existing ones."
"(Y/N)! Wanna work with me?" Kirishima asked, his skin suddenly breaking out into rough rock. You couldn't help but admire how scary he looked in that form, it really was impressive. Kirishima slammed his fists together, "Make me into your personal sandbag."
"Nah, I don't feel like breaking any bones today." You winced at the memory of you and Kirishima sparring for the first time. You went in for a punch and suddenly your fingers felt broken in fifteen different places. Huge mistake on your part. You turned to the person next to you, "However, I do want to work on hand to hand combat. Momo?"
"Sure!" Yaoyorozu cheered. You two ran off into a corner of the gym away from everyone else so you had space. Both of you began stretching. As Yaoyorozu brought her arm over her head, she spoke, "This is perfect because I wanted to talk to you about something, anyway."
"What's up?" You said, coming back up from touching your toes. You were excited to spar, it had been awhile since you had the time to do something like this with your classmates. Plus, after the fight with Chisaki, you decided you needed an upgrade on your hero suit. You couldn't wait to test out the new pieces added by Hatsume.
"You and Todoroki..." Yaoyorozu started, but you quickly rushed to her front, covering her mouth with a hand.
You looked in all directions as to make sure no one was listening in. While searching for any open ears, you made eye contact with Todoroki. He made an effort to send you a small smile. Todoroki was in the middle of combat training with Kaminari when all of a sudden his world was rocked with a solid blow to his stomach. You and Yaoyorozu flinched at the punch as if it were you two who got hit. It sent Todoroki to the ground, but Kaminari quickly rushed to his side, holding a hand out for him to grab onto while apologizing profusely.
Your head slowly turned back into the conversation between you and your best friend. Your hand left her mouth before you spoke, "Uhm, he's sort of my boyfriend now."
"What do you mean "sort of"? He either is or isn't." Yaoyorozu pointed out. You were slightly taken aback by her attitude, but appreciated her concern nonetheless. She put her hands on both your shoulders, "And since when?"
