"Let's get down to business, wannabe hero, (Y/N). Won't you join me?" That voice. Shigaraki's raspy words filled your ears. He sat motionless at the bar in front of you, a hand covered his face unlike the last time he'd spoken to you.
You were strapped to a wooden board, put on display for his league to see. The tight leather held onto your body, squeezing your skin in an uncomfortable manner. You wriggled in attempt to make the straps any looser. The gash on your arm had been wrapped with white bandages, you could only assume the League did it because who else would've in this situation?
"You can shove your offer up your asses and go to hell." You spoke.
"Heroes today sure have it rough, I'd say. Am I right, (Y/N)?" Shigaraki asked before he continued his monologue. "The minute that protecting people started coming with a paycheck, heroes stopped being heroes. This is what Stain has taught us. Save someone, and you get money, you get fame, sounds weird to me. And in this society, where the precious rules are everything, the people aren't cheering for the losers, telling them to fight another day. They're blaming them. Our war is based on a few simple questions. What is a hero? What is justice? Is this what society's really supposed to be like? Once we get people thinking about this stuff, that's when we've won. And I know you love to win."
Shigaraki gave a moment of silence, allowing you to take in all of what he just said. The rest of the league of villains stood around, as if they were waiting for a command to come out of his mouth.
"Dabi. Untie her." Shigaraki demanded, pointing at the straps that held you in.
"She'll go wild, for sure." Dabi expressed, conflicted about untying you and giving you the opportunity to hurt anyone within your reach.
"It's okay. We gotta treat her as an equal. We're scouting her after all. Besides," Shigaraki narrowed his eyes at your figure, "before she throws a tantrum, our little U.A. student here should be smart enough to know she can't win."
Dabi turned to Twice beside him, holding up the key to your restraints, "Twice. Do it."
"Huh, me? No thanks! She'll knock me out once she's outta there." Regardless of his worries, Twice took the key and unlocked your restraints.
Mr. Compress started to speak as the locks on your wrists clanked from Twice using the key. "We need you to understand that we're no mere thugs working in the name of aimless evil. Not in the least. It wasn't by accident that we spirited you away."
The league watched as you rubbed around your wrists, observing the aching bruises that were left. Nobody made a move until Shigaraki got up from his seat at the bar and walked to you. The floor boards creaked as if this bar had withstand many years of almost being destroyed. The teal-haired man spoke, "Thanks to heroes, we've felt suffocated. You, more than anyone, should understand. It's in your blood to be a villain and you know it. Your parents would've wanted this."
Shigaraki reached out his hand to graze your face, but you turned your head away, kicking him in the face. You spat, "Don't touch me, asshole."
An almost shadow-like figure started over to Shigaraki. His hand that covered his face had landed on the ground next to him, however, his shaggy hair replaced the sort of "mask". Shigaraki stopped the shadow, picking up his hand and putting it back in its rightful place.
You jumped down from the slightly elevated box they had you strapped to. "Pulling off a massive attack like what you just did—it showed me how valuable I am to you. I know you aren't for real going to kill me."
"Who says we can't torture you?" Dabi asked with a smug smile gracing his lips. This statement piqued the blonde schoolgirl's interest.
"Let me stab her!"
"No!" Shouted everyone in the room.
"I thought we might understand each other." Shigaraki said in a saddened tone. His eyes darted to his side, looking at the static television. "Master, lend me your power."
"Master?" You thought out loud. "I thought you were in charge here. Then again, it would be better off not to have a man-child running things."
"You brat!" Shigaraki raised his hand in the air, about to slap you across the face, but his hand was transmitted through a purple portal created by the shadow. Shigaraki looked back in distress, confronting the group about what to do, "Let's put her back to sleep. Maybe then she'll learn how to listen like a good girl."
Dabi, as if on cue, brought out a syringe from his coat pocket that was presumably filled with the liquid to sedate you. The man inched closer, but once he was close enough you swiped your leg underneath his feet, making him jump and miss your attack. Dabi's smugness quickly turned to anger, blue flames erupted from the palm of his hand.
"Toga, hold her down for me." He spat. Toga obliged while the rest of the group didn't contribute any saying to the matter; they just observed. You tried scurrying away before Toga could reach your frightened figure, but it was inevitable due to the lack of space in the room. The blonde girl loomed above you, her hands stapling your wrists to the rickety wood floor. Dabi grinned as he spoke, getting on one knee to get the job done, "Flip her hand over."
Without a moment to spare, the fire bender began to burn the top of your hand. Your skin bubbled, you could hear the natural oils sizzling the longer the fire went on. It felt like a really bad sunburn pricking your fine skin. At this point, your hand was raw. You squirmed under the intense pressure, wanting to cry out for help, yet you held back, trying to not feed into their egos.
Dabi immediately stopped the fire due to a knock from the barred door interrupting the scene. All the villains turned their heads to face the sound of a voice coming from the other side of the door. "Hello. Kamino Pizza delivery!"
All of a sudden, rubble tumbled atop of the League of Villains (and yourself) as heroes filed in from all directions. The destruction caused a loud ringing to echo in your ears—you slightly winced at the pain. Bricks toppled upon your legs, making it harder to move away to a safer location. Dust caked your face, it almost made your skin seem translucent.
"Damn these heroes." Shigaraki spat as Kamui Woods' branches scattered around, capturing Shigaraki's body.
You looked around in a panic, seeking for any hero within your reach. As your head did a scan through the debris, you made eye contact with Dabi, whose eyes lit up when he saw you. He began clawing his way to your imprisoned body.
"I'm not done with you, you little bitch!" He said before being roped in the branches, much like Shigaraki. You grew dizzy, a few blocks had hit your head but you didn't think much of it until now. Your vision started to deplete.
"(Y/N)!" A familiar gruff voice shouted from a distance. The hero came into view. His red wings wrapped around him to protect himself from the falling rubble. He almost looked like an angel in disguise; your angel in this case.
"Hawks." You whispered before he scooped you up in his arms and began carrying you out of the fallen building.
