Your eyes shot open, staring at the dark ceiling above you. What time was it? Where were you? Where was everyone? Your weak arms lifted you up from the uncomfortable mattress you were sprawled on. You noticed the five blankets, each with different material, on top of you. In addition, a heating pad was placed on your stomach. Looking to your right, there was a window; outside you saw the navy blue sky dotted with bright, white stars—someone forgot to close your curtains. Based on the room, and then commotion coming from all sides of you, you were in a hospital.

You stood up from the bed, searching the room for any normal clothes to change into. You ran into luck because a pair of your jeans and a basic t-shirt were laid on a chair for you. You reminded yourself to thank whoever brought in your clothes. Quickly, you changed, grabbing your bag of belongings before you left the room inconspicuously.

As you walked down the hallway, you covered your eyes. The bright yellow luminous lights nearly blinded you on your way out. The entire time you stared at your feet, not wanting to look at anyone. Surprisingly, you made it successfully to the drop-off area of the hospital parking lot without being caught. Silently celebrating your escape.

"(Y/N)?" Shit. You jinxed it. You slowly turned to the male voice coming from behind you, spinning on the heel of your converse. Strands of your hair flowed gracefully as you came to a stop, making you look even more ethereal—even if you had just escaped from a hospital.

"Hey, Todoroki." You locked eyes. You could see the distress in his physique; dark circles hovered underneath his sunken eyes. Todoroki's disheveled hair made him look even more intense but attractive. You scanned his outfit, his classic black tee and blue jeans, but your eyes stopped at the flowers he coddled in one arm. Blue orchids and lavender brushed against the exposed skin from his short sleeve. You licked your lips before speaking, taking a few steps closer to him, "What're you doing here?"

"I came to see you." Todoroki spoke. He took two steps forward, nearly closing the distance between you two. He took the flowers in his hands and leaned them towards you, "These are for you."

Your eyes went over the assortment of blues, purples, and greens before taking them into your own hand. You smelled them, sucking in the sweet, calming scent they produced. "They're beautiful. Thank you."

Before you could react, Todoroki's arms were wrapped around your figure, nearly crushing the flowers. You melted into his touch, closing your eyes and soaking in the warmth he emitted. You could smell the heavy hits of cologne he put on before coming to see you. He sniffled—you couldn't tell if he was trying not to cry or if he was smelling you. You were honestly hoping the latter because you weren't very good at comforting people.
