7 - second night

When my shoes are off I sprint to the sofa waiting for Leah to give me cuddles.
"Hey, I thought your legs were hurting that's why I carried you inside." She laughs.
"But I really want cuddles?" I say cutely hoping she will still give me cuddles.
She rolls her eyes at me and finally walks over to the sofa and sits down next to me. She grabs me and pulls me into a long and warm hug. I rest my head on her chest and embrace the hug hoping it would last forever.
I look up at her and say "I really like you Leah, I just wanted you to know even if you don't like me back."
She playfully laughs and tells me "I really like you too, why would you think I didn't."
She gently kisses my forehead and adds "We aren't allowed to be together though. Its against the law little one."
I snuggle back into Leah and breathe in her sweet smell knowing I wouldn't be able to be with her.
I reply sadly "I know."

"So, what's my surprise?" I smile at her.
"What surprise?" Leah asks confused.
"Leah! You said there was a surprise for me!"
She smirks "yeah, there will be. Cant tell you what it is though. It's for another day."
I roll my eyes "you're so mean," then I giggle cutely.
The cuddle goes on for a few more minutes until Leah says she is going to take a shower and then she will make dinner. I let her go up and shortly after make my own way up for a shower of my own.

Once I get out of the shower I borrow some of Leah's clothes as I didn't have any pjs and I wont have any till my parents drive them up for me. When I put them on I instantly feel safe and warm, I smell like her which makes me feel like I am in a forever hug with her. I wander downstairs and the smell of stir fry suddenly fills my nose. It smells amazing and I compliment Leah on it smelling so good. Beth sprints downstairs and immediately sits down waiting for the food. I join Beth at the table and asks if she was ok. Beth says that Leah's stir fry is her favourite and it's the best meal she makes. Leah brings out our food and laughs at Beth.

We are all sat at the table eating silently eating the meal when Leah breaks the silence to ask how my first day was and she also asked what Jonas wanted. I tell her that Jonas just wanted to see how my first training session was, if I was settling in ok and if they were treating me nicely. I also add that my first day had been amazing and I couldn't have asked for better friends to help me settling in.

After dinner is all finished and cleaned up I say I am going up to my room to get started on my school work. I run upstairs as I needed to crack 6 hours of work in 3 hours if I wanted to go to sleep before ten. After half an hour of working and I have finished off English there is a knock on the door and I yell for them to come in and they slowly open the door and step inside.
It's Leah and she steps inside to sit on the bed and asks if I needed any help or company while I work and finish off my school for the day. I tell her that I am fine and I don't need any help and I tell her that it will get boring if she stays but she stays sat down on my bed anyway. While I work she looks over my shoulder to see what I am doing and she suggests ideas that I would have never have thought of.

I thank her every time and once I am onto the last subject, which didn't take as long as I thought because I had Leah to keep me company. The subject is maths and it's a topic that I don't understand so I ask Leah if she can help me try and understand it. She jumps straight into action and off my bed with a big smile spread across her face as she describes the topic in more detail to me. I can't help but stare at her as she is helping, admiring her cleverness and eagerness to help me. She finally helps me understand it so I finish off the work and thank Leah for helping me and for her time.

I give her a big hug to say thanks and straight away fall asleep in her arms as I am exhausted from todays work. She quietly laughs and picks me up to gently place me into my bed, trying not to wake me.

She stays with me for a bit; playing with my hair, giving me cuddles and once she was about to leave to go to her bedroom she placed a very gentle small kiss on the tip of my nose.

As she gets up I open my right eye so I can grab her hand and I plead her to stay with me just for tonight because I don't want to be alone and I also tell her that she keeps me very warm and comfy.
She laughs and jokingly replies "so you are using me now?"
She then quickly adds "Ok fine I will stay with you but just for tonight and only because you look really cute right now."
I smirk and open up my arms ready for her to cuddle up to me and keep me warm all night.
Leah slides in next to me and embraces my hugs facing the wall.
She rolls over so she is facing me and our noses are almost touching. I lean closer into her keeping eye contact with her. She leans in even closer and goes in for a kiss to which she pulls away from immediately and apologises instantly. I tell her that it was ok and I pull her in by her neck for a long deep kiss. After the kiss we are both a bit flustered but I fall asleep in her arms very quickly.
Leah kisses my forehead and and whispers "goodnight my love" before going to sleep herself.
