38 - there yet?

"Why did you leave me?" I hear a whine at my ear and feel kissing at my cheek.

I like her like this, it shows me how much she really loves me.

Clingy is a good colour on her.

I open my mouth to speak when she gasps "oh my god! What happened to your neck?"

She half shouts, concerned.

I think Beth already knows what happened so i'm about to reassure her theories.

"You out of all people should know Miss Williamson." I accuse her, unimpressed by the mark she left me with.

I can't lie, it felt good in the moment, I bet she doesn't regret a single thing, because I surely don't.

Leah smiles to herself, proud of her work, whilst Beth struggles to contain her laughter.

I roll my eyes at her, trying to shake her off me and get back to my phone, since that's what she did when I was with her.

She lets go but keeps a tight grip of my hand, not letting me go on my phone either.

"Can I run something by you?" She asks.

She search's for my eyes so I look into them and nod yes, she continues "well, my mum was messaging me and she asked me round for dinner on Wednesday and I've been telling her about you so they asked if you could come too and meet them for dinner with me.
Only if you wanted to though but they want to meet for bowling and then have dinner at home and I thought you would want to come too so I told them yes for you."

I scratch my ear, unsure of what to say.

Leah was rambling on so she was definitely regretting her choice of telling them yes without me knowing first.

Ive never been any good in social situations, how does Leah expect me to keep my cool there and act totally normal?

Ive never met them before and now they are asking me round for dinner and bowling, with their family.

Wont I be intruding on their family time?

"Uhm- yeah sure." I reply, with a waver in my voice.

She grabs my hand and gives it a squeeze, obviously knowing what I was thinking "don't worry. You'll do great. You'll be perfect.
Just be you, be how you normally are and trust me, they will love you. I love you.
It's pretty impossible not to."

I try to find a gap out of this "but wont I be intruding on family time?"

She shakes her head.

Damn.

"No of course not. My mum says that from everything shes heard of you, from me, she pretty much knows as much about you as I do. I tell her absolutely everything about you.
Im crazy for you. You're gonna be with me forever, you know that right?
Just try, and if it gets too much, just tell me and you can sit in my room or I can take you home." She told me as a statement.

She strokes her thumb over my knuckles so I smile "okay. I'll try. For you. And don't take me home, then I'll just prove myself to be a child, not worthy of you."

She smiles back and laughs "it will be super embarrassing too."

I whack her arm "shut up. You're supposed to be trying to make me feel better."

She just bends down and kisses my forehead and whispers "that's what I love about you, you know. You overthink everything. Theres no need. Im here now. I will protect you."

I just smile into her chest.

She is so perfect.

She always puts her needs before mine.
I cant believe I got this lucky.

Beth coughs "im still here you know, but that was pretty sweet."

She makes us aware of her and the teams' presence, and that its not just us.

We giggle "yeah we know."

Training finishes soon after and Leah has told me to get ready and dress warmish.

I put on a pair of my grey cargo pants, paired with a plain white t-shirt and a purple Nike hoodie on top (Leah's of course) then I steal one of her beanies to keep my ears nice and toasty.

I run downstairs to her as she is shouting at me to hurry up, and she has been for 5 minutes.

I bump into her back, as I wasn't looking where I was going, and she turns around to me and grabs my hand.

She looks gorgeous, as always, so I decide to have a bit of fun by teasing her a bit.

"Leah, I know you're not a fashionista like me but you have to at least try a bit or give me time to get ready. It takes time to look this good, you know."

She rolls her eyes "that was rude. Anyway, I already know I look amazing" she flicks her hair back, trying to be somewhat sassy "the look on your face says it all."

She giggles and grins smugly.
She's so cute when she giggles, so I blush, knowing full well, im going into a full blown major gay panic.

"Le, babe, sassy ain't your colour im afraid. Good try though."

She smiles "right sure. Better than what you could do. Oh- and isnt that also my jumper your wearing right now?"

I smirk an look down at the floor "no. Well, maybe. Yes." I give in, to her interrogations.

She drags me out the door and into the car, "it's alright. I like you wearing my clothes. They suit you." She says with a wink.

I blush.

Oh god, she really has me wrapped round her little finger.

She controls me.

She has power over me.

I like it.

Especially when she dominates me, that is really hot.

She drives us off "so where are we going?"
I ask suspicious of her.

She smirks "it's a surprise."

I hit my head back on my seat "you're so annoying. I hope you know that."

She flicks her hair back, again trying to be sassy, but failing miserably, "I know I am. But you love it, that's why you love me." She says sarcastically.

I shake my head and laugh "I love you for another reason."

She catches on to what im thinking and gasps at how naughty my brain is.

10 minutes later we still aren't there.

"Are we there yet?" I ask like a little kid.

Leah laughs at me "no not yet."

I sigh and wait a few moments before re-asking my question, completely bored "are we there now?"

She rubs my thigh with her hand that has just perched on top of it.

"Just relax. We will be there in half an hour okay?"

"Okay."
